The shepherds along with Regna Ferox people were celebrating their victory in the tournament. The party was held by the east khan, who won the tournament with the help of Shepherd and now is currently the one in power because of their victory.
In one of the tables Ezekiel and Robin were talking about magic while, other shepherds were talking among themself, Amethyst was being the center of attention as many mages of Regan Ferox were talking with her about how she functions and who made her.
Amethyst was taking pride in introducing herself as one of the greatest being created and how she has excess to second magic.
Chrom who was done talking with the khans walk towards the other Shepherds
"Shepherds, don't drink too much we have to went back to Yelisse tomorrow morning" Hearing Chroms word most of the shepherds were dissatisfied but don't say anything, as they also know the current tension between the kingdoms and a tragedy might happen if they weren't available in Yelisse at the time.
"Ezekiel, I am sorry but I think you would need to teach more mages about baptism rites, the appearance of Risen had drastically increased over the past few days"
Ezekiel nods at Chrom's words, he also knew that undeads are difficult to deal with1, as he had personally experienced it himself.
"Don't worry, you know I am not normal" Ezekiel words just makes Chrom frown
"I know that, but you should be fine mentally too"
Amethyst fly over to their side and shakes herself as if telling them that she is shaking her head
"Atleast, I work hard to master my magic spells, while you just took it out from my head" Ezekiel says as a vein pop in his forehead
"Indeed Amethyst, come closer I wish to teach you more about a said spell"
The mages who were talking with Amethyst also began to gather towards them to learn some more about the said magic, other shepherds also looked towards them.
"Step 1: just stay perfectly still"
The other mages present also began to take notes as Ezekiel continued speaking
"Step 2: walk closer to your hated enemy" Ezekiel walks closer to Amethyst
Ezekiel ignores her words and began to raised his fist and blue lines formed in his fist "Step 3: raise your fist like I am doing now and use reinforcement spell on it, WHILE PREPARING TO UNLEASHE YOUR BURNING FURY, UPON YOUR FOE'S UNEXPECTED FACE"
"STEP 5: I CAST THE FIST!!!" Ezekiel hit Amethyst downwards and she was hit with so much force that she leave a crater in the floor but she did not have a scratch on her.
The show earn a loud laugh from the people who had witnessed it. While the mages did find it funny, they were worried about Amethyst they still needed some more answers
"Stop acting all the damage done to you are always nullified" Ezekiel says
"But Ezekiel it's not nice to do something like this" Robin scolds Ezekiel who raised his hands surrendering to her
"Yes, yes Robin"
After enjoying the party for another hour the shepherds went back to sleep as they have a long journey the next day.

The next morning all the shepherds along with their new member had started their journey back to Yelisse. Some of them had drink too much during the party and were barely holding onto their horses, while Ezekiel was enjoying the fresh cold morning air.
"Well, isn't it a pleasant morning" Ezekiel smiles towards his fellow shepherds, all of them had dark circles under their eyes probably because of the lack of sleep
The words of Ezekiel got him the collective glare of all the shepherds and he just laughs it off
"Oh, by the way, Lon'qu how are you not sleepy?" Ezekiel asked
"The people of Regan Ferox always drink a lot and stay late, so I had to adapt to their standards"
"Well shepherds, the city gate is infront of us. You can rest as much as you want when he reach the palace" Chrom's words brought joy to most of them.
"Sleep as much as you want now, but don't forget that we still have training in the evening. It's already 12 now" Frederick said while looking at the shepherds who knew magic
"Ah Chrom, if you have time I want teach you a special magic" Ezekiel said which confuses Chrom.
"But Ezekiel, I have no talent for magic"
"Don't worry it's simple and it can help us a lot" Ezekiel reassures Chrom and just nods

After a long journey the shepherds finally reach Yelisse, but they don't get enough time to catch a break, as Chrom soon inform them that Maribelle had been abducted by Plegian soldiers. Emmeryn decided to talk to the Plegian king and Chrom decided to go with her along with the shepherds incase a tragedy struck.
Ezekiel had been awful quite after hearing that Emmeryn herself decided to go meet the Plegian king to ensure Maribelle's safety. He had know who his father works and he wasn't quite the fan of his works 'blaming others for his own mistakes' and taking compassion for it. Ezekiel face frowns remember his father, he shooks his head dismissing his thoughts on his father.
Robin who was riding her horse besides Ezekiel notice the frown in Ezekiel's face "Ezekiel is everything okay?" She asked
"Oh, don't worry Robin, I just remember some unpleasant memories"
Ezekiel laughs lightly at Amethyst words. He had already decided that he will soon expose all of his father's doing and put his sword through at green hair bug's ass.
Lissa who was in the carriage heard them talking and look outside, where she saw Robin cheering up Ezekiel and Amethyst cursing somebody, who is most likely Ezekiel's dad.
"Let me join too, you guys, it's boring inside the carriage" Lissa said
"Well, I was just comparing how shitty ruler my father is compare to her highness Emmeryn and somethings about my world" Ezekiel says
"Well then Ezekiel can you tell me about your world" Lissa says as her eyes shine brightly
Chrom also decided to join the conversation as he also look out from the carriage window "Well, I would also like to hear about it"
Ezekiel thinks scratches his head and thinks for something and says "well my world consists of many relams, one for every Gods and other beings with magic, most of the humans don't know of magic or it's existence, it's like something of a myths and legends. However those who know about it keep it a secret from others. Some magic academy and the Akashic Academy of Agartha are the the only one's available for humans to learn magic but Akashic is out of range for most of the humans now"
"Why is that?" Chrom asked
Ezekiel looks down and says "My father along with some of his associates use a imperfect imitation of second true magic and throw 2 sons and 1 daughter of the head priest, Asiel Crowley, into different worlds and they did it during the peace treaty"
"WHAT!! throwing children's into another world!! how could they?" Emmeryn shouted from inside the carriage. She don't mean to eavesdrop but they were talking near her carriage so she heard everything.
"That did anger guardian of the world tree very much, she was their mother after all. She even leave a burning sun in the battle field during the war which is still burning till now. Some years later their second eldest son was brought back by his mother who search for him for 7 years or so"
"Ahh Ezekiel, are priest allowed to marry in your world?" Lissa asked, she was a little confuse about how a priest can be married
"Well truth to be told he is more like a fake priest and I heard that the guardian propose to him so, I guess he accepted. I even called him that and he always laughs while saying 'yorokobe shounen' meaning 'rejoice boy'.That guy throw me into a forest full of those creatures like Risen as a form of training. No, I think he did as a revenge against my father" Ezekiel was so angry that he began releasing a chilling aura.
"That's all, but he always saved me when I was about to die to them and he never did anything to harm me" Ezekiel says as he remembers the face, that fake priest made when his daughter also came back, it was a face full of joy and he saw him cry for the first time there.
"What about the other eldest son and daughter? Did they find them back?" Emmeryn asks
"It wasn't the eldest son who got transported, it was the youngest, that priest had 3 son and 1 daughter. The eldest was at a taking care of Agartha during the meeting. And Yes, they did find them back" hearing Ezekiel's words Emmeryn sighs in relief she was worried about them never finding their way back home
"The magic in Akashic must be amazing to be able to create a sun" Robin says
"Yeah, their is a library, the same sized of two palace in Agartha full of magic spells and forbidden knowledge"
Hearing Ezekiel's words Robin chokes on air "Hey, Ezekiel isn't it a bad idea to keep this kind of books in one place"
"Na, it's not a problem before becoming the guardian of world tree, Miss jibril was a god-killing being. It's impossible to get inside the palace without her permit and it's not easy to reach Agartha that place is full of creatures born for human thoughts and Gods born from human thoughts and even if they some how survive those creatures they need to reach Akash the only country of humans in Agartha which is covered by mountains that touch the skies"
"Too much information" Robin says while touching her head and others agreed with her. They then asked some minor questions and Ezekiel answers them

"Thank you, Amethyst but that explanation was enough. And why were you not talking to us a while ago?" Robin asked

"Oh"
Ezekiel who was besides them don't believe, Amethyst's words, he knows that she had already saved the coordinates of this world, when she form a contract with Robin. Ezekiel decided to ask what she was doing letter and just focus on his way.
A young boy carrying a spear and wearing a steel pot as a helmet suddenly block the way of shepherds. The shepherds got ready for an ambush, as it can be a trick from Plegian King.
"Help! You gotta help us mi lords" the boy said
Seeing the boy Ezekiel got out of his horse and ready some wires "what happen boy?"
Ezekiel questions was soon answers as bandits began to came out of the bushes
"Oy, there's the wee piglet"
As soon as Ezekiel saw the bandits he sigh, what can he expect from this world it's still in early ages bandits are normal here. He look behind him and saw Chrom approaching them
"Great bandits, Shepherds get ready!" Chrom Shouts as he unsheathed his sword
"Aww damn Shepherds" the bandits quickly ran away from there as fast as they could after hearing Chrom's words but unknown to them a blue bird was following them.
Chrom decided not to follow them and sheaths his sword back and look towards the young boy "quickly lad, what happen here?"
"Y-yes milord! Right away milord!! If it pleases y-your graciousness"
Seeing the shutter voice of the boy Chrom sighs "maybe hold off the titles for now, what's your name?"
"Donney. Err Donnel, it's Donnel your majesty" the boy answers
"Well that will do, now what happen here?"
"That rotten-tooth, pig-stinkkn bandit you just ran off attack us. I am the only one who escape my lord. They took others to their bandit camp. Please sir you gotta save the folks. My ma is one of them. She is the only...one I got"
Hearing Donnel words Chrom tighten his fist and looks towards Ezekiel
"My familiar is following them don't worry"
Hearing Ezekiel's words Chrom nods and looks towards Donnel again "don't worry lad, we will save them all"
"Thank you, your majesty, thank you"
The shepherds followed the Donnel to near the camps of the bandits. Robin after reaching there, created a strategy with the help of the map Amethyst made after scanning the area.
The strategy was simple, Robin divided the shepherds into 3 parties containing 5 members each while the remaining guard Emmeryn, Ezekiel made 2 more bird familiar and gave one to the other team while he took the other, he then connected the familiars with Amethyst as a mean of communication for them in any emergency or change in strategy
"Amethyst scanning ability is very good, she could even point out the position of the people" Chrom says as he looks at the map Amethyst created.
Chrom looks towards the group Robin divided the shepherds in and says "Shepherds get ready, and you lad are you sure you want to fight along side us?" Chrom asked to Donnel
"Yes, milord they are my people and I wish to save them" hearing the boys answer Chrom smiles and gets ready
"Frederick will lead team on the right, Ezekiel on the left and I will lead the team on the middle" the shepherds nods at Chroms words
"Amethyst, don't use the familiars for killing okay, we can take care of ourself only intervene in grave situations" Ezekiel warns Amethyst as he walks towards the other side from where he will attack
Ezekiel and his group quickly started their assault as soon as they received orders from Robin their plan was simple kill them before they could notice them. Many of the bandits were in a group of three people each making it each for them killed them silently.
As Ezekiel group advances farther they quickly hide behind one of the ruin building when they saw two bandits standing on top of the ruins out of the reach of their swords and their party don't have any archers. Lon'qu decided to throw swords at them but Ezekiel quickly stopped him.
"Don't you can only hit one, and the other will alert everyone"
"Then what do we do? A magic spell will create too much noise"
Hearing Lon'qu words Ezekiel created two floating swords by his side "but this spell will not"
The two swords fly towards the bandits and hit them in the chest and they continued their mission smoothly till all the bandits were cleared I their side
All the groups have clear their area and they went meet up in the main base of bandits where all the hostages were kept.
Chrom was talking with the villagers while Ezekiel and Lissa were treating the wounded. The shepherds were then offered to stay the night which they accepted and the next morning they continue their journey.
"Donnel, please come back alive" Donnel mother bids him farewell as he joins the shepherds in their journey.
"I will mother"
