In the morning~
Rennie slowly opened her eyes as the morning rays fell upon her face and a smile curved up her lips.
Alex's hand was resting beneath his head whereas another one was above her waist.
Little Cathain was sleeping among them and the sight of him sleeping between them peacefully made her smile freeze for a moment.
'He would be sleeping between us like this too, right?'
'We would be a perfect family.'
Rennie felt herself feeling sad again but then she shook her head and her smile appeared again.
'Don't think like that anymore, Rennieeh!!'
'I promised him yesterday that I would only think about the happy memories!'
She silently sighed in her mind and her hands slowly approached his face.
Her fingers gently trailed over his sleeping face and she chuckled after seeing his furrowed brows.
Rennie gently removed her hands as she sat up and bent down to place a kiss on the baby's forehead before placing a kiss on his forehead too.
