Zillah was already up from the bed and had taken her shower while Alvah was still asleep.
When she was done she got on the bed, picking up a pillow and pressed it against his face but he didn't respond.
She tightened it just to get him to react but he didn't. She didn't want to have bad thoughts that he might be dead but the way his body was still frightened her a bit.
She took off the pillow stuffed on his face to take his breath away and looked at him and his eyes were glued on her looking sleepy.
" Why didn't you respond?" She asked throwing the pillow to the side. He replied to her, " Why did you try to kill me ?"
" I didn't try to I wanted to wake you up" she said moving closer to him. " A good morning kiss would have been better Zillah".
He flipped himself to the other side to make her feel bad which she did. " She crawled on top of him to the direction he had flipped himself looking him in the eye.
" Why are you still asleep?" She questioned him again and he could only crease his brows asking what was wrong with her.
" Why are you up Soo early?" He said burying his face on the pillow when she snatched it from his face.
" We have to meet Uncle Ghazan about your condition, and I believe it's almost noon". She pointed at the time and he looked at it, it really was late.
He got up from the bed to go to the bathroom when he stopped and walked over to the bed, pulling her closer to him and gave her a kiss on the cheek and she laughed heartily.
" Go take your bath" she said pushing him.
" You don't mind us showering together next time?" With a slight grin on his face, he was eager to hear her response.
" Naughty" she replied to him and he was left jaw dropped, he got in the bathroom slamming the door a bit harder. She could only laugh at him.
When he was done, coming out, she ruffled his hair like her little puppy holding his hands and she teleported to the outskirts calling on Ghazan.
" Uncle, uncle". Her voice louder by the next. " I am here Zillah ". She let go of Alvah's hands running to him. Alvah looked at his hands folding it into a fist to get rid of the lonely air.
Ghazan hugged her tightly burying her face in his chest while rubbing her head as though she was his daughter.
" Alvah is here " he said releasing her to look at him. Alvah smiled at him walking closer but Ghazans face was stiffened.
Alvah noticed this and couldn't tell if Ghazan was annoyed at him. He didn't think he did anything wrong this time.
" Zillah sure doesn't know where this is from " he murmured looking at her. Alvah stood still, a shortened distance away from Ghazan.
" Come with me". He said to them and led the way. They walked a few miles from where they were to a cottage.
" You made yourself a home?" Alvah asked him and he could only notice the change in Alvah's voice as well. It had deepened.
" Alvah …" he called his name but stopped. He looked at Zillah and she didn't seem surprised at Alvah but rather curious at him. Alvah waited on Ghazan's call, what he had to say next " Could it be that I never noticed you changed a lot after your return? He asked raising his brows.
Was that a compliment, Alvah grinned at Ghazan and Ghazan nodded lightly with a smile. "Come inside"
He began speaking. " Zillah told me that you've changed a lot, not just physically I suppose but significantly your powers as well".
Alvah looked at Zillah in shock. " Did you?..."
" Uncle is speaking " she pressed her fingers on her lips indicating he shouldn't talk.
" You have been having red eyes lately?". Ghazan asked sitting on the couch while they sat opposite him.
" Yes I have". He replied looking at Zillah who didn't spare him a glance.
" But uncle it doesn't seem to be an Infernal influence it's a …"
" Another dominion". Ghazan completed.
" Dominion?" Zillah asked him but his eyes were glued to Alvah.
" I fear I know this but I don't want to believe it ". He said rubbing his temples softly.
" What do you know?" Alvah asked him getting more intrigued by the conversation.
" I wouldn't want to complicate things for you. It's a new found energy I suppose since you haven't had this influence before".
He continued to speak to himself. " It obviously made you more powerful which is why you tend to be more agitated than usual?". He ended with a question and Alvah nodded at him.
" This power isn't an Infernal power but it will be when you return to Tartarus which isn't good".
" What if they are also familiar with this power?". Alvah asked him. The only thing they could see Ghazan face had turned really dark. Alvah and Zillah looked at each other.
" Uncle do you know the source of this power?" Alvah asked with a furrowed brow leaning closer while Zillah was comprehending the tension in the air
" This is very impossible" Ghazan got up from his sit. He looked at Zillah rashly causing a fret.
He walked around. He looked at Zillah one more time. " I'll need more training sessions with you". He said looking at her intensely.
" Okay" she replied in a low voice. " Alvah " he called his name looking at him intensely. " I don't know if I should tell you about this".
