Alexander's heart almost lost it hearing Mikaya's words.
Although she clearly phrased it as a joke, he feared the twins might actually do it. These two often lacked the most basic common sense.
Alexander even thought he saw one of them starting to move their heads, like they were looking for a fruit knife.
"Stop!" Hence, he snapped his eyes open with a cry, quickly pulling his head out of the pillow in alarm.
The noise caused three pairs of eyes to instantly greet him- two slightly shocked and shy, the last, amused and very mischievous.
"Ahhh… Lord Alexander, it is so nice of you to finally wake up," Mikaya greeted Alexander with perhaps the sexiest smirk in his life, although her alluring gaze was full of mock teasing.
She had actually detected Alexander waking up some time ago, but instead of calling him out, she thought it would be more fun to expose him in this way.
