(General POV)
Location the Warhammer Old World-Kislev, Open Snow covered Area: Battlefield; Kislev/Daughters of the Hag vs. Forces of Chaos/Dark Legion
The death duel between Ixion/Tzeentch, and both Ulrika Magdova and Mother Ostankya is continuing.
Ulrika being the aggressor between the Kislevite "allies" swinging her sword with incredible grace but also intense aggression, but the Chosen of the Gods, Ixion Daemonhart, in his tzeentchian state was blocking and countering her assault with either his [Balewing Halbert] or [Hellbane].
All the while Ostankya was providing Ulrika with some support from a distance, firing magical bolts from her staff, but fighting against the eldritch Tzeentch, it was a literal ant against a...fish-bird thing...it is a nuisance, against his psychic pulses to block any magical blast from Ostankya.
So with his blindside covered, Tzeentch can keep his focus on Ulrika, performing a low wide swing with the halbert, aiming to slash at Ulrika's waist level but instead of backing out of the attack to dodge, the vampiress took a step forward to stab her sword into Ixion's right upper thigh.
Her attack landed causing no damage, but instead Ixion/Tzeentch's halbert swing while it didn't manage to cut, the pole hit her side, launching her across the snowy field.
Tzeentch will not allow her to escape death again, so he made Ixion to rush towards the vampire, and Ostankya seeing her ally was once again in danger she prepared another spell to use against this damned Chaos Lord.
Once more, she raised her arms and staff high to the air, and harness the Wind of Magic again, channeling once again the power of the Lore of Beasts to use against her enemy, as she was conjuring a deadly magical projectile of the Lore of Beasts, the spell being the (Amber Spear), with golden wild magic surrounding Ostankya's form, and soon the sounding of a horn, as the Hag Mother was summoning a glowing amber spear and she started to aim the magical amber colored spear, made from Beast Magic.
Locking to Ixion's back, Mother Ostankya, she swung down her arms and released the (Amber Spear) at Ixion.
Having just absorbed the power of the Lore of Beasts, Tzeentch immediately recognized the magical signature of the Brown Winds of Ghur, fast approaching him.
The other Warp Gods were eager to see how their brother, the Changer of Ways, was going to do in response of the incoming spell, in a swift reaction Tzeentch bended the Winds of Magic align with his own chaotic, eldritch energy, causing a wall of (Pink Fire of Tzeentch) to emerge behind the avatar.
Making Ixion to keep walking forward, and the (Amber Spear) struck against the wall of (Pink Flames) a explosion that instead of heat and sparks, the spot of the explosion flourished with life...typical, tzeentchian magic causing unpredictable results...Ostankya was enraged.
Again her enemy was not only able to counter her moves, but also overcome them in ways she'd never expected possible.
This made Tzeentch laugh, sensing the frustration and anguish emanating from the Hag Mother, but his main target for now was Ulrika that was getting back up...all the Changer thought of, "Good, she was can still fight... Maybe I'm understanding, the thrill of battle that Khorne is always blabbering about." Tzeentch made Ixion spin his halbert around, before he toss the [Balewing Halbert] at Ulrika to impale her dead.
Ulrika saw that the tzeentchian polearm was soaring straight at her, and she barely dodged the incoming attack, as the axe-head of the halbert cut her right arm, just below her shoulder.
The vampiress reached over to her bleeding wound, hissing in discomfort and not noticing that the halbert stuck on the snow behind her was wabbling and shaking, all because Tzeentch was using his telekinesis on it to blindside his opponent.
Ulrika she got used to the slight pain, quickly and was ready to continue fighting against Ixion, her vampiric red eyes, glowing menacingly at the vile, Chosen of the Gods, taking off in a fast sprint towards Ixion, thinking she'll have an advantage now that Ixion discarded one of his three weapons, but you never temp fate himself, especially when he is the God of Schemes and Plots.
Just when Ulrika was halfway to her target, Tzeentch pulled his [Balewing Halbert] out the snow, and sent flying towards Ulrika's back, Ostankya seeing that her ally was in mortal danger, she harness magic to form a spherical magical projectile of spirit/hag magic, floating over her staff and firing at Ulrika to the vampiress' shock, she leaped out the way.
Soaring from behind her was the tzeentchian halbert, that crashed againt Ostankya's magical projectile causing a small magical explosion, kicking up the snow and Ulrika had to block her eyes from the frost.
Tzeentch/Ixion stood there as his halbert flew straight to him, with a open hand the pole of the halbert was safely back into Ixion's grasp.
Standing there as the kicked-up snow, was settling the Changer found it quite annoying that Ostankya stop his latest finishing blow against the vampire woman, one would start to believe she was blessed by fortune...but all is fickle with fortune, and the end he is the one that decides the flow of destiny...but first he has to deal with Mother Ostankya's meddling if he wants to kill Ulrika in peace.
Using his command over the Winds of Magic, to access the power of the Lore of Shadows, to cast a couple of spells on the Hag Mother, the first shadow spell was the (Enfeebling Foe) summoning a shadowy fog of mauve color, surrounding Mother Ostankya.
She tried to fight off the mental attack of the (Enfeebling Foe) spell, but power behind this shadow magic was nothing like she'd ever faced before, as worry, panic, illusion was invading her mind.
As Mother Ostankya was desperately trying to fight off the tzeentchian sorcerer's shadow magic, but then Ixion attacked her with another shadow spell, as more Ulgu fog was beginning to manifest into the world, under the command of the Changer of Ways.
For Tzeentch/Ixion was casting, (Penumbral Pendulum), a giant pendulum of shadow magic was conjured fort by Tzeentch, and the pendulum blade swung at Ostankya, she was barely able to protect herself by gathering a much as magical energies that her mental anguish permitted to shield herself.
The Pendulum struck her body, causing unbelievable damage but her magic couldn't handle the magical power harnessed by Ixion, but at least it pierced the surface of coated robes, a bit of blood stained her robes but she was still alive.
Seeing the Hag Mother, still alive after her mental and physical assault by the Changer, but once his (Enfeebling Foe) spell ceased she'll interrupt his battle with Ulrika again.
Speaking of the vampiress, she was sprinting towards him again, seems that now she was trying to save Ostankya from the magical onslaught that he was hitting her with, so Tzeentch once again attacked the vampiress with a psyker attack to temporarily getting her out the way.
Focusing on her weak mortal mind, and with a probe of psychic energy piercing her brain, cause a intense headache, nearly to a unbearable migraine, she dropped to the snow trying to message her temples to relieve the pain in her head.
Now with Ulrika out the way, he can return his focus onto the other annoyance.
Taking some inspiration from a action that his brother the Dark One, has done a long time ago, the Sorceror God decided to create a brand new spell from the Lore of Shadows, a spell meant to constantly cause mental anguish and illusions that no weak/weakened mind would be able to willstand or break out of these illusions.
As he instructed the Winds of Magic, and bended the Lore of Shadows to his desired design spell, he'll named (Liar's Woes) as he was manipulating the strands of shadow magic, the Blue Scribes were very close to him, the sound of pen scribing through parchment...his brother, Laharl, suggested that he claim the Blue Scribes, the next time that they use the Infinity Fountain, and he'll admit that their use and service will prove very useful for his schemes...but that will be another plot for the future, now he was very busy, creating his new shadow spell.
As a darker tinted Ulgu fog was manifesting in the psychical world, surrounding the Hag Matriarch with figures of dark mauve fog, were appearing and speaking to Ostankya, spewing lie after lie to the hag witch.
This spell is long lasting and meant to make lies into woes that are as close to truth, as honesty is, right now as Ostankya was forced to her knees willstanding mental torture, she is trapt in several illusion born of lies.
Aside from Khorne and Nurgle for various reason, as this spell is a real affront to many things they stands for, Laharl was impressed even if he'll never use that spell personally, then he commented, "Geez. When Slaanesh get a hold of this spell, Warp knows what sweet and twisted fantasies she'll spew to those poor souls in them. Or worse use them on herself." all four Warp Gods, shuttered a bit cause they couldn't fully imagine the depravity that their future little sister was capable of...
Their combine unnerving feeling, spreading to their avatar and it shuttered as well, Tzeentch regain composure and spoke out loud, "Brother...please don't ruin my new magical creation, I beg of you?" shaking Ixion's head, Tzeentch cut off Ulrika's mental torture and watched as she crunched the snow with her body shifting around, and then stand back up and reclaim her sword.
Now it was just her and Ixion, fighting to the death without any more interferences...
Back in the main battlefield, the sudden reinforcement of the khornate beastmen, turned the tide drastically.
The Doombull lead his Blood God touched herd, on a bloody rampage across the battlefield and was about to challenge the Beast Lord of the Dark Legion for power and dominion over the other beastmen fighting in the war, when Skarlet the Blood Witch, used her power and authority over blood, was soo mighty and fearsome that the Doombull, relinquish his aggression and obeyed Skarlet in battle.
With the Blades, Daemons, and Beastmen of Khorne, under her command the entirety of the western front of the Daughters of the Hag was all but butchered already.
The other parts of the battle, the tzeentchian forces were bombarding the Kislevites with various magics from eldritch arcane that is common for them or magic that has never been witnessed, the laharlish forces living up to name of the Carnage God, were causing mayhem, carnage, and slaughter across the battlefield, the small forces of the Hedonites were wroughting unimaginable pain, in a twisted grace and horror.
The nurglish forces under the Priestess of Putrefaction, Yuma Trollvile, were spreading untold death and disease in the snow-covered battleground, and lastly monster and mutants of Chaos, were also tearing through the battle, the akshina never experienced such a organized and powerful Chaos army, since Asavar Kul the Anointed, ravished Kislev in his warpath to the Empire of Man.
It was clear that the Dark Legion, is the dominant army in this war, the slaughter and destruction, it was something that Daughters of the Hag have never challenge in such a scale.
Back with Ixion Daemonhart and Ulrika Magdova...
Tzeentch/Ixion was engaged in a brutal combat with each other, sword clashed against three different tzeentchian weapons, as the Changer decided to face and finish the vampiress, at her own proficiency, melee which greatly pleased his older brother, the Blood God.
Ulrika swung her sword to the right only to be block by either tzeentchian blade or halbert pole, then she was struck in the belly by a armored knee-strike from Ixion, not only causing her pain but knocking air out her lungs, as she gasped in pain with blood spewing out her open mouth.
The blow lifting her off her feet, for a small moment, only for Ixion/Tzeentch to strike and slightly burn her with a heavy strike to her left ribs with Ixion's tzeentchian corrupted, blue and pink burning scepter.
The sound of bones cracking could only be heard by sensitive hearing or divine hearing, Khorne was pleased with his brother's brutality, and as Ulrika's body was launched from the blow, Tzeentch heard Nurgle request of him, "Since...your...offering the...skull...of...girl to...Khorne. Can I...have...her body? It...would be...delightful...to...experiment...and examinate...the...properties...of a...vampire's...body...in...my...brews... Hehhehhe." Tzeentch seeing no harm in the request, since the unliving woman held no value to him, he told Nurgle that the body of Ulrika Magdova, was his to claim, once he killed her.
This made the Decaying God very happy, and he laughed his joyful, wet laugh with some coughing in the mix.
But from what they're seeing, Ulrika hasn't surrendered to her fate yet, as she stood up again, with clear signs of pain and discomfort as she was straightening her form.
Holding onto her ribs, she used her other arm to point her blade at Ixion, a clear sign that she still desired to fight, if not for her weakness and non-angered mind, Khorne would have admired the vampiress tenacity and courage, but it was desperation, pleading, prayer, and hope that surged through her soul...to Khorne that wasn't the soul of a warrior...(Lore has a few distinctions on those favored by Khorne, and it has happened that warriors that fight don't show or refuse, or are worthy Khorne favor. One instance was in the last Tau story with Farsight, and many other stories, warriors that ignore Khorne's influence or aren't worth it to the Blood God. I just wanted to show that here with Ulrika.)
Tzeentch made Ixion take a stance, and waited for the vampiress to launch her final struggle against fate, if Tzeentch saw any value in her, he might have tried to claim her in his service, but she was too much of a brute, with no magical talent or guile to be worthy of serving the God of Thousand and One Plots.
Ulrika in a more sluggish fashion struck, which Ixion easily blocked and counter her attack with a slash across the chest of the Kislevite vampiress, blood gushing, with her pale skin stained in blood and her breasts slightly visible and cut by the [Hellbane].
She hissed in pain and back away, to try and gather her strength to attack again, in a slow angled slash which Tzeentch/Ixion easily countered again only striking her with his scepter, hard on her already injured ribs.
The blow caused her soo much pain, that she screamed and soon silence by another blow from Tzeentch/Ixion's scepter to her back, slamming her down onto the snow, again Ulrika, she tried to stand up but it was clear that her body was already at its limit, even if her mind and heart didn't want to accept defeat yet.
Now it was this duel was starting to become tedious, and boring for not only Tzeentch but his brothers, so once she tried to attack Ixion again, Tzeentch made the avatar thrust his greatsword at her, and gush of blood soared out Ulrika...
Bleeding and beaten Ulrika was utterly at the mercy of the Chosen of the Gods, with his tzeentchian greatsword stabbed into right chest a nearly fatal wound, even for a vampire.
Dropping her sword, as her strength was fading fast away from her body, all the while Tzeentch's brothers were encouraging their younger brother, to execute Ulrika and he was more than happy to adbiligue with their request.
Tightening the grip on the [Hellbane] handle, in a brutal faction, he started to pull the greatsword upwards while still inside of Ulrika, cutting and reaping out the right shoulder of Ulrika, splattering blood, gore, and bone shards allover the snow, with the vampiress' screams of pain joining the howling, cold winds of the Motherland, losing soo much blood and the pain her body both endured and is enduring was too much for her, and Ulrika collapsed onto the cold, bloodstained snow.
The cold offering a small relief, as she could feel pain surging from her barely attached arm, her eyes fixated on the azure greaves of her soon to be killer, Tzeentch/Ixion standing victorious over the clearly broken Ulrika, it was time to end her suffering and truly claim his full victory, as well as finally focus on ending Ostankya still under the fading affects of his (Liar's Woes) spell.
Sheathing both the [Hellbane] and the [Corrupted Ursunite Scepter], he used his [Balewing Halbert] to impale Ulrika in the belly, making her spit up blood, as she barely had strength to even scream anymore.
With her impaled, Tzeentch used Ixion's strength to lift her up, in a position that looked like she was on her feet again, but only by [Balewing Halbert] blade was she on her "feet", using his psychic power to keep her in place.
Tzeentch/Ixion pulled out the halbert, and she didn't drop down because of his telekinetic hold on her body, and with a full-powered spin Tzeentch/Ixion, slashed his halbert at Ulrika's head and beheaded her, Laharl swears that he could see this entire execution, as a fatality in any of the more modern Mortal Kombat games, in fact he was almost tempted to say "Fatality" in a deep voice, but remained quiet for this was Tzeentch first official win in a duel, so it was his moment to enjoy.
Releasing his psychic hold, both Ulrika's head and body dropped lifeless onto the snow, this was one...turning to Mother Ostankya who was finally getting back on her feet with the aid of her staff, Tzeentch stopped his (Liar's Woes) spell, since it wasn't fun to break a magic user, when they can't expressed it.
The final duel for the fate of another of Kislev's defenders was soon to end...
