Ginny woke to the feeling of something warm draped over her body. Blinking against the soft morning light, she squinted down to find Persephone nestled against her chest—her face buried just beneath her collarbone, hair tickling her chin, one arm wrapped possessively around her waist.
Her heart swelled at the sight.
She gently twirled a lock of golden hair between her fingers, watching her peaceful, sleeping face. It wasn't the first time she'd woken up like this—but somehow, it felt like the first.
She leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top of her lover's head, her thoughts drifting to the night before. They'd done it. They'd made love.
