Chapter 52 - An offer I can refuse

POV AIKO

After yesterdays fun, it was time for us to head home. Ruby and Yang didn't want us to leave, since Ruby looked behind me, yet I couldn't see anything.

While Yang looked sad that I was leaving, she wanted to spar with me again to see who was better.

But I made her a promise that when we were older, we would have a rematch and see who was better.

This made Yang happy at our promise, she ended up hugging me and smiling brightly. I could only smile back and pat her head, causing her to be flustered.

Currently, the four of us were all packed and ready to leave the kingdom, we all then wore cloaks to hide our traits and began to leave.

But before we could make it to the entrance of the academy, both Ozpin and Glynda were already there, waiting for us.

"Leaving without saying goodbye?" He asked with a smile on his face, his mug in one hand, while his cane was on the other.

Glynda on the other hand held her stoic look, both of her hands held her clipboard that was close to her chest.

"Sorry, but you are the headmaster of the academy, we don't want to bother you with our goodbyes." Sienna held the same look that Glynda gave.

"It's no problem, besides, I wanted to offer something to the both of them." Both me and Blake shivered and began to walk backwards, making sure there was a large gap in between us.

"Ah." Was all he said before me and Blake ran around a corner and poked our heads out, staring at him with narrowed eyes.

"My apologies if I seem suspicious, but I mean no harm to the both of you." He took a sip from his mug and gave it to Glynda.

Who used her semblance to send it away, both me and Blake then moved forward, albeit slightly closer.

"W-what do you want to offer us?" She nervously asked, hiding behind me like always when someone wants to talk to the both of us.

"Simple, if you like, I would be happy to make you any weapon you desire, think of it as a goodbye gift." I however didn't like how he said that it was a goodbye gift, it felt too odd since I could still feel that strange aura.

It kept causing my senses to go haywire every time I saw him, not once did I try to ask why or even stayed when he got close to me.

"R-really?" She moved to the side, peaking her head over my shoulder.

"Of course, I wouldn't be a kind host if I had let you all leave without giving you a gift?" Glynda only rolled her eyes and soon spoke up.

"Headmaster, must I remind you that we are reaching our monthly budget?" She chastised him, only for him to chuckled.

"No need to worry, I'll be using your pay check." This made her widen her eyes and smack him on the shoulder.

"Ozpin!" The headmaster laughed at her reaction and waved his hand.

"No need to react like that, it was just a joke." Glynda on the other hand didn't see it like that, the same could be said for the rest of us.

'Is he really the headmaster?' We all thought, soon he calmed down and faced us again.

"Returning to the topic at hand, I do wish to give you all a gift before you leave, however, if you can't come to a decision, please, let me know at a later date on what you desire, within reason of course." He soon began to walk away, the sound of his cane hitting the floor was the only thing we heard.

"Here is the contact information of the headmaster, and it was a pleasure to have you stay with us." She then made her way towards me and Blake.

Smiling and knelt down, and placed both of her hands on me and Blake's head, rubbing her hand between our ears.

"Stay safe you too, if you choose to come here, beacon academy will welcome you both with open arms." She then stood up and soon left, following the same path that Ozpin took.

"Well, that's was surprising." Sienna spoke first and sighed.

"Y-yes, I didn't expect her to smile, I thought she was the no-nonsense type and would most likely stay single." Ilia commented, the four of us then looked back at Glynda.

"Well, as the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover." Blake spoke up, all of us nodded at her fact and soon made our way towards the docks for the bullheads.

However as we were leaving, I heard the sounds of whimpering and sniffling. Even Blake, Sienna, and Ilia heard it.

"Don't go!" The sound of multiple girls shouted, and all of us turned around, seeing multiple girls sobbing as we left.

"I never got to touch your ears!"

"I wanted to read you some stories!"

"I wanted to ***** and ***** and *****" I grabbed a rock and threw it at the girl who began to spout that nonsense.

Striking her directly between the eyes, causing her to fall backwards and fall unconscious.

"Keep your perverted thoughts in your head!" Sienna shouted and began to run behind us.

"Let's get going!" I shouted, picking up Blake in my arms and ran towards the docks, with Ilia and Sienna not far behind.

"Let's get going, we don't want to stay here any longer!" I shouted and soon arrived in front of one of the bullheads.

"No need to tell me twice!" Sienna shouted back and soon entered.

"I-I'll admit, I didn't expect that last one to be so… so vulgar." Ilia held herself and shivered, tempering the words.

Blake on the other hand was red as a tomato, her ears laid flat on her head, while steam rose from her head.

"Oh great, now she's in her fantasy land." I groaned.

"It's going to take hours for her to calm down." Sienna only shook her head and placed her next to me, instantly, Blake hugged me, not wanting to expose her face anymore.

The four of us then sat down next to each other, with Sienna on my left and Ilia on my right.

Blake on the other hand was sitting on my lap, still hiding her face from the shouts that we heard from that one student.

After spending a few minutes in silence, we soon arrived at the city, of Vale and began to grab our supplies.

However, as soon as we stepped foot onto the city, I heard a familiar pair of voices getting louder.

"Aiko, Blake!" We turned to see that it was both Ruby and Yang, Tai was behind them with a small bag, while Qrow was nowhere to be seen.

"What are you guys doing here? I thought you were staying home." Yang soon stood in front of me, figiting in place, both of her hands were behind her.

"W-well, we wanted to see you guys off, a-and give you guys some gifts." Yang stuttered, trying to hide her blushing face.

"Yeah, and we wanted to give you this." Ruby ran towards Tai, who knelt down and handed me the bag.

As soon as I took it, I could hear the sound of metal hitting metal. I was about to open it, but Tai stopped me before doing so.

"It's best you open it once your outside the city, the police will take it the wrong way." He smiled and patted my hands.

"A-also, c-can you give us your scroll information?" Yang asked, holding out a brand new scroll.

I was surprised at first, but I ended up doing so. Promising her to contact her when we get home.

Ruby was next, in her hands were four small bags. Each with a poorly drawn sticky note on each one of them.

"U-um, I-I made these for each of you." She then passed each of the four bags to us, thanks to a Faunus sense of smell, we were able to smell strawberries and chocolate.

I smiled at the snacks she gave us and head patted her, causing Ruby to giggle at my touch.

"Thank you Ruby, I'll enjoy them when I have the chance." Blake was next to stand in front of Ruby, pulling her in a hug.

"Thank you for the cookies." She whispered, Ruby only giggled and hugged Blake in return.

"It's okay, I just want you guys to enjoy my moms cookies, it's her re… ri…" Ruby was struggling to speak out the word, only for Tai to step in.

"Recipe." Ruby smiled and nodded her head, pulling back and soon ran behind Tai.

"Mind if we walk with you guys? Just to see you off." Both me and Blake stared at Sienna, who hesitated at first, but then nodded.

"Fine, besides, I don't have to deal with that drunkard of a bird." Tai could only chuckle nervously, looking to the side.

POV ???

No, no, nonononononononono.

Why does he have those bags, why is he with those girls, who are they, why is he leaving, and why won't he say goodbye to me?

He should be living here, where we can always be with each other, going out on walks and with him showing his real self.

"Oh shut up with your monologue, you can't just make him stay here, even if you could, you remember what happened last time, right?" My only friend said to me, I only turned to her, staring at her with annoyance.

"I know, but I can't do anything, we, can't do anything!" I snapped back, causing her to roll her eyes.

"Oh don't get your panties in a twist, besides, I think it's a good thing." She replied, walking to the edge of the building.

"I don't care, I just want him to stay here, with me, so it'll just be the three of us, we don't need to hide what we are." I hugged myself, watching him as he left.

I could feel my semblance breaking, my real appearance coming out. Both my hair and eye changed color, revealing half of my hair being pink, while my left eye became pink.

"I still remember that day, after he paid for my ice cream." My hands moved to my face, while slowly turning red.

"The day we followed him, the day we found out he's like me." I raised my head to the sky.

"The day he showed his real appearance, those tails, that white hair, and those red, red eyes." I moaned lightly.

"I just want him to myself, I want him to be mine, mine, mine!" I shouted, only to compose myself quickly.

"But, only when he is older, I have standards and morals." My friend only rolled her eyes and my comment and soon scoffed.

"Yeah right, you killed those guys that were about to kidnap him." She said, standing next to me while flicking my forehead.

"Hey, they were about to taint him, there was no way I was going to let them harm him in anyway." I refuted, only for her to laugh.

"Sure, whatever you say, just make sure to not expose yourself the second time." She reminded me.

FLASHBACK

After they left me alone with my ice cream, I decided to folllow him, I was curious on why he was lying, how I knew he was lying was simple.

The muscles on his face looked forced, his eyes showed that he was struggling, as if juggling multiple tasks.

Once he was out of sight, I began to folllw them from a distance, curious to why he was forcing himself on something.

After following them for a few hours, I was surprised that they were heading towards the docks that led to Beacon.

However that wasn't stopping me to sneak onto the same bullhead to observe him. And as soon as the door closed, I saw it, I saw him releasing all the tension and his figure changing in front of me.

Those nine tails, the white fur, I couldn't help but fall in love at the sight. He was like me, forced to look normal, to hide what he really looked like.

However, before I could get closer, I felt something sharp at the edge of my throat, I couldn't move one inch.

"Shhh, It's best if you don't move, let them get off." I heard a soothing voice, I could only comply to her demands.

As soon as we arrived, I was forced to see him get off the bull head, and I didn't bother to struggle.

After the bullhead made its way back to Vale, I saw the person who held me in place. What I saw shocked me greatly, the person who held me in place, was someone who looked like him.

"I don't care that you stalked my son, however, you should at least wait until he is of age." That was all I heard before loosing conscious.

FLASHBACK END

"Still, she approved me, I mean, sure I still have to wait until he is an adult, but she still approved me!" I squeezed in delight.

"Whatever you say, Trivia, whatever you say." My friend spoke, I didn't care about her sarcastic remark, I only pulled out a picture that I took of him, staring at it with love.

"I'll be waiting, my little liar." I cooed, brushing my fingers against the picture.
