6 Hours Later
Morning
As I felt something heavy on my chest, I groggily opened my eyes and saw Gaia sprawled ontop of my chest with her hair spread all around the bed surprising me.
Zephyr: 'Time to wake up huh?'
I slowly began to move gaia off my body and replaced it with a pillow that she hugged tightly.
I yawned before I got out of bed and stretched before I walked out of my small abode to see the black serpent wrapped around the Cherry blossom tree with its eyes closed.
I thought of Shinoyami and the Cherry Blossom before looking at Shinoyami's weapon skills.

Feeling shocked at the new revelation of Shinoniyas sealed ability and skills I blankly took out Shinoyami from its sheath and inspected it fully.
Zephyr: "Hmm….I guess Kudaketa Ken is the skill name of the technique I use often.
I sighed before looking at the direction of the cave that led down and I hummed before I opened up the system shop and searched for a crafting table and bought one for 10 points.
I took the cauldron out of my inventory alongside Salis Mundus from the Shaman Goblins tent before looking at the powder of Salis Mundus.
Zephyr: "I definitely need to mass produce Salis Mundus for what I need…"
I placed down the crafting table and with a wave of my hand I threw the Salis Mundus onto the crafting table before it sparkled and with a puff of smoke the crafting table had changed.
It is now an Arcane Workbench, made from greatwood and exquisite green silk cloth. Now I just need to craft a thaumometer and I can start on my theories once more….
I grabbed six different vis crystals from my vast crystal-filled inventory before placing them on the Arcane Workbench and looked through the shop for some gold which cost me a hefty sum of 100 points for just 4 pieces.
Looking through once more for a glasspane and a hammer, I bought one for 5 points and soon placed them on the Arcane Workbench.
Rumble!
Creak!
Bam!
I focused on the objects form as I started hammering the five pieces into the thaumometer slowly with the glasspane in the middle.
Bam!

I placed the Ignis, Aqua, Ordo, Aer, Terra, Perdito vis crystals into the slots of the Thaumometer before lastly engraving letters onto the Thaumometers edges connecting all 6 vis crystals as they glowed.
Bam!
Poof!
In that moment the glasspane changed its color to that of a light blue glasspane with the vis crystals now allowing me to once again see the wonderful aspects of the World.
Zephyr: "Magnificent! Lets go test it out!"
I picked up the Thaumometer and with both hands I looked through the glass lens at the stone ground, grass, and The Arcane Workbench in which I felt my brain shiver as if I am gaining back my fundamentals!
Zephyr: "Haha! Everything looks wonderful again! Time to make my second most favorite thing!"
I quickly got back to my Arcane workbench before taking out an blue filled glass phial and bought a feather from the shop before placing the two objects together as they were filled with 6 aspects energies, creating something never seen before.
Zephyr: "Hmm? Lets see what this thing is!"
With a quick scann of the new scribing tool, I gained new observable knowledge and soon I took out silverwood planks and using the Arcane workbench, I crafted a table before placing the Scribing tool ontop of the silverwood table and with a poof it changed entirely.
Whoosh
Poof!
I picked up the now heavy Research table before placing it beside the Arcane Workbench and sensing something strange in the air I closed my eyes and putting the Thaumometer infront of my eyes.
Zephyr: "What the-"
As I kept my eyes shut with pure darkness, I could see the energies of the vis crystals more clearly but there was also now a blue stream flowing freely through the vis crystal energies surprising me.
Zephyr: "Is that supposed to be mana…?
As I looked at the fleeting mana infuse itself with the Research table I opened my eyes and put aside the Thaumometer.
I bought an entire stack of papyrus paper before setting them down on the research table and looking at the papyrus paper I reminisced about my past and with my new memories.
After taking a moment of silence I started writing theories about experimentation on vis crystals and the functions of mana's compatibility with vis crystals.
15 minutes later
After 15 minutes of writing nonstop with my inspiration, I managed to create a worthwhile theory but I needed to research more to finalize them but its good for now.
Still, I felt like I gained an increase in fundamentals, and artifice. But it wasnt enough to form a full theory with my new findings so I started once again.
Zephyr: "Hmm, I should experiment more and try to form a Universal theory, but I need more knowledge…"
Not long after I stepped back from the research table before I looked back at the giant cherry blossom tree on top of the small hill and I took out the Thaumometer before looking through the len to see a vast amount of blue mana coursing through the tall sakura tree.
Zephyr: "Impressive! But why is it fixated on the hole where I picked up Shinoyami?
I walked over to the top of the small hill before walking up to the hole where I originally found Shinoyami and as I pondered I felt Shinoyami humming surprising me but as if knowing already I simply took out Shinoyami and carefully placed it inside the hole of the sakura tree .
Booom!
When I did, the sakura petals seemed to bloom and spread everywhere and I had stopped moving entirely for what just happened.
My mind seemed to have stopped all movement before it started moving at speeds I personally never was possible.
In an instant I ran towards the Arcane Workbench & Research table before I picked both of them up and ran back as I placed them close to the Sakura tree.
I grabbed an entire stack of papyrus paper and made five more scribing tools before I started to write down theories about mana and vis crystals with fundamentals.
As I kept writing whilst chuckling darkly I failed to notice a green haired figure watching from a distance with confusion on her face.
5 Hours later
As I finally put down my remaining pen on its empty vial I took a deep breath and stretched before seriously looking through my completed theories in which I nodded satisfied with the progress.
Zephyr: "Such a wonderful experience that was, I finally managed to write down my thoughts on paper!"
Gaia: "Well I hope you had fun in whatever you were doing!"
Zephyr: "Ah? Sorry if I woke you up!"
Gaia: "Mmm, I was already wake when you had woken up! I just didn't want to bother you since you were fully invested!"
I smiled before rubbing her head as she smiled up at me, I looked at my completed theories before taking a long look at the Sakura tree and asked Gaia about it.
Gaia: "Hmm, its an elderly Sakura tree that has lived for quite some time. But it seems like you two are friends with you having shed your blood with a vow for her!"
Zephyr: "Thats…interesting actually! Then I guess my insights were all thanks to you then!"
I had smiled before I gently placed my palm onto its bark and I saw my hand light up in pink energy and wrapp itself around my arm.
Gaia: "Hey! Dont stake your claim! Grr!"
Seeing Gaia be angered I chuckled before letting go of the sakura trees bark but the pink energy stayed on ny arms before slowly gathering and forming a sakura tree symbol.
Gaia: "Argh why you! Sigh, so will you go down the tunnels today?"
Zephyr: "Unfortunately no, I need to start building up my Aspects and try to make a Gauntlet to protect myself if I cant use Shinoyami"
That does remind me to start making a Crucible to start alchemy. Today will be quite tiresome yet fullfilling with being able to see magic and essentia once more.
So I bought a cauldron from the shop and crafted another Salis Mundus before placing it far away from the Sakura tree.
Gaia: "Why won't you place it with the other 2 things?"
Zephyr: "When dealing with certain aspects, taint will be released from any left over aspect fusion"
Gaia: "Aspect fusion? What happens if there is a lot of taint?"
Zephyr: "With further taint invading the area around us the more of a chance rifts will happen"
Especially if seeds pop out of the rifts, cant let anything like that happen. I will need advanced metal like thaulium to help with diffusing the taint or lessen its dire effects.
As I got far enough, I took out the Iron shovel and started digging out soil before I took out sticks and threw them down the hole I dug.
I grabbed 2 pieces of flint before I started smacking the two flints against one another before aiming at the sticks in which sparks flew and lit the twigs on fire.

I placed down the cauldron before spraying the salis mundus onto the cauldron that was engulfed in purple smoke before I looked at the crucible.
Zephyr: "I just need to get some water and I can start mixing!"
3 minutes later
I grabbed the bucket full of water before dumping it into the cauldron and waited for a few seconds before the water started bubbling.
I hummed in thought as I wondered if I should go to the Nether, but what troubles me is what I would find in the other side and if it is still the same as I remembered…
Zephyr: "Sure why not? Im trained enough to hold my ground!"
With that in thought I pulled out an empty metal bucket, 15x terra crystals, and 5 Ignis crystals.
I threw in the 15x terra crystals first before throwing in the 5x Ignis crystals and as a catalyst I threw in the Iron bucket last before purple smoke covered the cauldron and a lava bucket appeared out of the purple smoke.
Gaia: "W- what was that just now! How did you create lava out of the fusion of elements?"
Zephyr: "Hmm? So thats what it looked like to you? Interesting…."
Zephyr: "Well through the use of Alchemy I was able to create Lava and other things in the near future"
Gaia: "Are you able to teach me?"
Zephyr: "Well, If I have enough vis Crystals, monster corpses, and a sealed space to stop the Flux from spreading, you can bet your preety face I will"
Gaia: "Hmm, I-I can't give you monster corpses for they are all my children but there are beasts that aren't from this world in the Abyss and the Newly born Gods who showed up"
I simply smiled and hugged Gaia close to my chest, and thought to make dangerous plans for the Gods if they interfered with Gaia.
Zephyr: "Well then, Ill be back soon, I just need to go collect glowstone dust and new things I can find!"
With a water bucket and a lava bucket I walked to the edge of the cavern before I started to dig out two spaces one feet deep.
I placed the water bucket inside filing both holes up before placing the lava ontop of the holes and steam started to rise before two black obsidian blocks appeared in the empty holes.
I had started making a Nether Portal with the next few iron buckets of water and lava before I finished the obsidian frame of the portal.
I quickly bought a lighter from the shop before taking a deep breath and exhaling as I lowered my hand to the obsidian surface as I lit up the lighter.
Swoosh!
Booom!

I saw the Nether Portal now having a swirling purple light and faint whispers could be heard as it was opened.

I took a deep breath before walking back towards a shocked and bewildered Gaia but I walked past her before I gently grabbed Shinoyami's sheath and pulled it towards my chest.
Zephyr: "Knowing you are a sentient being, I wish to have your blessing in helping me fight whatever is beyond the portal…"
Zephyr: "I need to grow strong to fight enemies like the Gods and other beings who will cause us trouble so teach me to be strong…"
Creak!

All of a sudden the Sakura tree's branches started creaking with wind moving gently through they sakura petals that slowly gathered together to form a womanly figure.
???: "I graciously receive your vow and will take you as my beloved pupil…"
As I looked at the woman in front of me in surprise I felt my body stir, making me grunt in pain as I felt the pink energy enter my veins
and start to change them as the pink haired woman looked at me seriously.
???: "Your first Trial is to survive the fusion of your physique with Lady Gaia's power surging through your body and the Spiritual Sakura Tree physique…"
Zephyr: "Arghh! Why do you people never- Arghh!! Tell me before hand!?!?"
???: "The more you prepare, the anticipation will make it hurt more my pupil…"
As I endured the pain of my veins spreading through my body, simultaneously my nerves kept shocking my body keeping me awake through the pain.
As I endured the pain I seemed to not notice how both Gaia and new teacher were conversing so I missed what they were talking about.
???: "Lady Gaia, I suggest you help Zephyr-sama get comfortable through his fusion otherwise he might die…"
Gaia: "WHAT!?!? You dare kill my soulmate!"
???: "As his teacher I must make him strong to survive in this cruel world…"
Gaia: "That….but is the torture of improving him needed?"
???: "Only through pain can one temper oneself, please aid my pupil in controlling my Lady's power and I shall do the same…"

???: "So you have awoken Zephyr-sama"
Zephyr: "Where the hell am I….?"
???: "As your body goes through the fusion process I will be teaching you some of my skills to grow stronger…"
All of a sudden I woke up and stood up fully as I looked at the brown haired woman who was dressed in a pink & red flowered kimono.
Zephyr: "So you are the Sakura Tree in the middle?"
???: "Yes, and as your teacher I will need you to grow strong to protect your soulmate…"
I paused and look at her confused until realization hit me and I grimly nodded at her words.
???: "I believe you already know that Gods exist within the world we reside in and have made it their homes in pocket dimensions"
Zephyr: "Gaia had told me about them, but if they were to harm Gaia in anyway it wouldn't stop me from tearing them apart"
???: "Although they have not directly affected our mother, they have been siphoning her power through their hidden dimensions"

Looking at the long list of both Rewards and requirements my jaw dropped but at the same time I swiftly said yes without hesitation.

As I looked at Kojima, I clenched my fist in an iron grip and slowly my resolve started to take root.
Zephyr: "Teach me what you must, I don't want to make Gaia have a bad time is fate starts to mess with her…"
???: "Very well, for whatever reason I feel like you know who I am. But let me formally introduce myself, I am Hana Kojima-"
Zephyr: "The Vengeful Sakura Tree…I won't ask the reason of your title for all I want is to grow strong to protect her in whatever way I can"
Kojima: "Hmm? Haha, in that case let us start your training…"

As the skies darkened outside of the Sakura tree and the cave, it seemed it wasnt just here but all around the world thunder rained down before it accumulated into one single Golden Thunder strike.

With many gods watched this intriguing yet ominous sight the thunder strike had launched itself from the very heavens as it struck through the hole in the huge cavern and tried hitting Zephyrs body.

KA-BOOOOOMMM!!!
As the large Gold beam of pure lightning tried to strike Zephyrs body a green barrier seemed to appear out of thin air and protected Zephyrs body.
Gaia: "Why is it when I have found someone to cherish you finally interfere….I won't let you interfere with his fate as he is my Soulmate!"
As Gaia gathered more of her power the entire ground started shaking wildly slowly spreading from the cave to the outside with each passing second kilometers of land started shaking before green invisible mist gathered and like river streams rushed to Gaias position.
Gaia: "No matter how long it takes I won't let you touch him at all!"
As Gaia got angrier the more fivine power started being released and slowly the world started going through unforseen changes that may or may not benefit the Primordial World.

As volcanoes started to erupt wildly throughout the world, the most bizzare mythological and intelligent creatures had all ran away or hid fearing the wrath of Mother Earth in all her fury for the very first time.

???: "Hmm? Why is it that this planet is shaking?"
As I looked out of the Dimension I saw something I never thought would be possible, the entirety of this world shook as if it was angered and I could see the vast amount of energy we could only siphon small bits of floating like rivers towards a certain area.
???: "WHO!?!? WHO CAN CONTROL IT ALL!?!?"
In my sudden burst I immediately followed the rivers of green energy floating towards one direction and for what seemed to be hours I passed by a massive forest full of silver trees and the Lightning beam hitting the middle of the ocean of green energy.
And not long after I arrived, more gods came to look at the scene. With many watching, and few having tried to gather some of their divine power to gather the green energy but failed miserably so.
As we watched the lightning continue striking no stop whatsoever, some of our pantheons lightning gods tried to control the lightning beam but that proved to be a fatal mistake.
CRACKLE!
KA-BOOOOOOM!!!

???: "ARGH!"
???: "RUN AWAY!"
???: "ITS ATTACKING EVERYONE!!!"
Those bastard Lightning gods had invoked the Lightnings anger as a whole 5 other beams where shot out targeting the crowd of unsuspecting gods.
Not even a second to spare I got out of that area as fast as I possibly could and behind me I could hear their screams and several bursts of divine power going back into the clouds.
A few minutes later
As I re-entered my Dimension I swore to never go out ever again and locked the dimension tight, I am fairly certain that other gods did the same after witnessing the countless deaths of Immortal beings.
Whatever angered both this planet and the very heavens must be suffering in hell at this moment.
Narrator POV
3 Days later
And so days passed with the onslaught of the lightning beam still hitting the green barrier that over the course of the following three days, slowly saturating the cave and its inhabitants.
At the same time, our young protagonist appeared to stir in his sleep with his body having grown taller, his black hair grew past his neck, but the most fascinating details were his tattoos.
The small tattoo of the World Tree had grown to cover his entire torso with its branches spreading to wrap around both his arms and its roots wrapping around his legs tightly not letting go.
Of course, the Sakura Tree had grown and changed its position to Zephyr's back and its branches spread to cover his entire back and intertwined with the World Tree's branches, the same applied to the Sakura Tree's roots and World Tree's roots.
As these branches and roots intertwined, the same yet dangerous process applied to his mana veins, merideans, organs, muscles, and blood.
It wasn't long before this process had finally finished and Zephyr fully woke up from his deep sleep.
Zephyr POV
Gaia: "Yay! You're finally awake Zephyr!"
Hearing Gaia's words, I groggily looked at her before hugging her tightly and looked at the gold beam of lightning that intensified when I woke up.
Zephyr: "Hey Luna, are you able to show my stats now? I want to see how strong I have become…"
While looking at the gold lightning I clenched my fist and felt my newfound strength coursing through my body.

Hana: "Correct, although I can't forsee how you will deal with it I congratulate you in fighting fate itself head on…"
Hearing it was fate itself shocked me but I held myself together before opening my inventory to see if I had anything whatsoever that could help me even if I knew I had nothing.
That was until I stopped looking through but stared at my inventory fully. With one final look I came to a impossible yet determined solution that seems plausible enough.
I started taking out everything I had in my inventory and placed them onto the ground but with the more fragile items I had to carefully put them within my cave abode.
After I had fully put all items out of my inventory I raised the inventory pointing at the beam of lightning that seemed stronger ever second we waited so with a deep inhale and exhale I told Gaia to open the barrier.
Gaia: "Promise me you won't die!"
Zephyr: "I will live!"

Once the barrier parted ways I saw the entire cave light up in bright lights but the worst feeling was when I fully felt the impact of the gold lightning strike me but it seemed my Inventory could store its power.
CRACKLE!

I held up both hands against the inventory and could feel the weight of the strike trying to go after me but I held steady and as my feet started being pushed back I started pushing forwards.
Zephyr: "Don't know how far I can hold on but I will gladly take all of you and experiment with you!!!"
And so I continued to hold on until I felt like hell, even with my newfound strength it did not stop the onslaught of Fate but I just need to hold on.
10 minutes later
After what felt like hours had passed by, I saw the golden lightning dim before it slowly disappeared alongside the dark clouds dispersing and the blue sky could be seen again.
Gaia: "Your okay Zephyr!"
Hana: "As I thought, you are perfect to be mothers soulmate…"
At the same time I looked at my inventory item slots and saw there was 9 of the 10 rows filled to the brim with a x999 red numbers at the top right corner of the item slots.

As I felt pain like never before I had glimpsed at Gaia wanting to tell her not to worry but she was frozen.
Zephyr: "Wh-"
???: "My oh my, it seems you are in a lot of pain darling~"
Zephyr: "Who- ARGHH-! you calling Darling!"
???: "Why you of course! And since I had a deal with your follower I can keep watch on you at all times!"
Zephyr: "Who ar- ARGHH!!! you even!"

All of a sudden I grit my teeth as I felt my back get chills before cautiously speaking to the tall woman who was radiating some type of white energy around her.
???: "Now then, I will engrave upon your body fate Keylines to watch over you~"
As I saw her come closer I forcefully rolled to the right as her hand was about to touch my chest and at the same time myegs buckled and I fell to my knees.
Zephyr: "God dammit!"
In that moment I felt my body stop moving and the woman's hand was centimeters from my chest.
Instinctively, I leaned back before she could touch my chest before I felt my entire body stop listening as I nervously chuckled at the smile she was giving me.
Zephyr: "Wait let me tell you something! Let me tell you something!"
???: "Time to come home my dear~!"
As much as I tried, I couldn't move at all as I watched her hand touch my chest and I screamed in agony as I felt strange energy fill my veins.
Zephyr: "ARGHHHH!!! WHY!?!?"
???: "Its to get you started and a personal gift from me"
Zephyr: "Why is my damn luck so bad! My own luck betrayed me!!!"
Narrator POV
Slowly golden threads started to merge within Zephyrs body slowly mixing with his magical infused bloodline.
15 minutes later
Zephyr: "God…why….."
???: "Its all for you to grow dear~"
Zephyr: "What…ever…"
Slowly Zephyr closed his eyes as a sudden shock bolted Zephyr into unconsciousness in an instant.
Zephyr POV
2 Hours Later
Gaia: "Hmm, it appears that you are waking up Zephyr…"
Groaning I got up and looked at the smiling face of Gaia whom I couldn't help but smile in return before I sat up slowly to stare at a tattoo made by that woman.
A black star with a gauntlet embedded within the star and six stars floating around the star itself.
Zephyr: "Sigh, the inevitable truly has happened huh Gaia…?"
Gaia: "It appears so Zephyr…"
I looked at my inventory and saw all of the golden karmic Lightning dissapeared and in their stead was the Golden Karmic Lightning Lance with lightning spreading out of its inventory space every now and then.
Zephyr: "And here I was wanting to sell all the lightning I gained for points…at least I got a nice weapon"
I sighed but the most important thing is to cross to the nether realm and gather everything it has to offer.
Zephyr: "Well ill be back after god knows how long collecting a ton of materials!"
Gaia: "Take care of yourself!"
Hana: "Come back soon for more training…"

I nodded before I took a deep breath and walked into the nether portal as my entire vision changed to a swirling purple light.
