Adela was strong, exceptionally so among this group of Elf Rangers, and like the now fallen Bessie Windwalker, she belonged to the Holy Sanctuary Level. Frankly speaking, within this troop of the Elf Ranger Corps, only the two of them had ever reached this rank.
Now, with Bessie Windwalker dead, it was only natural for Adela, her second-in-command, to take over the leadership of the squad.
Under normal circumstances, Adela would never have considered surrendering.
