In Young's home, where they were conversing, Sang-won whacked Min-ji violently on the cheek and asked, "Why didn't you have an eye on her?" He yells out, "Answer to me…!"
Ji-hoo steps in the middle of them and attempts to stop them, "Are you crazy, Sang-won? What will she do as a consequence of Young's deeds?"
"Since I am highly acquainted with Young, that's why I put you close to Young's apartment. I've repeatedly advised you to stay close to her. Really, why would you—?" He abruptly stopped talking and threw the broken vase in the direction of the mirror.
Hyuk is humming while adjusting his hair in the bathroom mirror. Ji-hoo enters shortly after him and says, "I yelled out to you so many times. Why don't you pay attention to me?" said in bewilderment.
"And once again, you ruined my lecture lesson… this is the third time. I know that's about Rachael, again, you want me to set up a date with her. But she already despises you, so that's not conceivable."
He is cut off by Ji-hoo, who says, "That's not about me, it's about Young."
In a moment, Hyuk's expression changes as he turns to Ji-hoo's side, saying, "Young...! What has become of her? Is she back here now?
"No… I saw her…"
"Where?"
"Where do you think she went?" Min-ji is being questioned by Ji-hoo.
Sang-won states, taking a piece of shattered mirror, "The place where we won't even go in our dreams too."
Hyuk hurried into the building where he used to go to treat patients, and he wandered around looking for someone but was unsuccessful. When an idea suddenly crossed his mind he hurried into the staff member with whom he was familiar.
"Nurse Yoo-jin…"
"Hyuk…! What took place? Everything is fine with your mother; these days, she sleeps soundly and takes her medication without fuss…"
"I am quite aware of that... I arrived here because..." Hyuk was looking curiously at Nurse Yoo-jin.
"No, Hyuk. Over the last two weeks, there have been no new entries. I went through each patient entry. I'm damn sure without my knowledge nobody has entered this place."
Hyuk, who appeared more at ease, said, "Then all good."
Afterwards two were strolling around the garden area where elderly people and patients were milling about. "I was astonished by your mom's health," nurse Yoo-jin says to start the conversation. "She uses the restroom on her own these days. Not biting the nurse's hands while taking her pills."
"I once thought my mother wouldn't make it. I was scared about how I would survive without my mother… All of a sudden everything changed…" Hyuk gives her a warm smile, "Sometimes the world amazes us by giving the unexpected things."
"So you're suggesting to be prepared for the unexpected things, right?"
"Yes…"
"All of sudden, why were you asking me about the new patient entries? Has anyone you know been to this place?"
"No… that's just a usual check because this asylum has become the old one; therefore I'm suddenly curious in whether or not outpatients are still arriving. That's it…" somehow Hyuk tackles the situation.
While they were conversing, a ward boy approached her asks, "Nurse Yoo-jin… that patient number 111, where her file records. Could you come over and help me?"
"Sure thing." As nurse said, she tries to leave the place but Hyuk stops her.
"Patient number 111…!" questioned Hyuk.
"Ahh… I forgot to mention that girl. Wait… I'll show you." The nurse said after searching around and pointing out a female, "That is patient number 111."
Slowly turning around, Hyuk exclaims, "Young...!" as he turns to face her. When he turned around, he startledly questioned, "Nurse Yoo-jin, you said there were no new entries here."
She replied, "She's not a new one. For the previous two years, she has been getting treatment here."
"What…?"
Nurse added with a smile, "The quote you just cited comes to mind. Expect the unexpected, and that is what happened this morning, the unexpected one."
