After enjoying ice cream, they went to the arcade. Walking side by side as they entered the arcade, Kaidrix was speechless. The arcade was humming with neon lights, and the nostalgic sounds of the retro games were creating a whole new world of their own. Eight-bit soundtracks and flashing of scoreboards would have lit up all the wires in any game enthusiast. Occasional cheers from players were evidence of their happy mood and a reaction to the excitement from winning or completing a challenge in the game. The place was cozy, not crowded, and not too empty.
Lumina tugged on his sleeve, smiling like a kid, "Remember this place, it was our second favorite spot after the ice cream events," and we used to sneak in here when Aunt would not bring us to the park, until she caught us, you were banned for a week from ice cream, she softly giggled then spoke, i was spared because you told aunt, you were the one forcing me to go with you. You always shielded me in these situations and were my knight in shining armor.
kaidrix felt hollow inside, because he did not remember any of these events, but the sincerity and the longing in Lumina's eyes always made him remorse his lost memories. Holding her hand close, he spoke, "I'm sorry, I don't remember these events with you, and it pained me a lot." Your company feels familiar, like something lives deep inside me. Echoes, and protecting you, does seem like that! Something deep inside me will do everything in its power to always adore you and protect you. I will always be your knight in shining armor.
Holding her shining tears in her eyes, she spoke."Back then, you always said these words to me after making my bullies black and blue...." kaidrix holds her face in his hands and spoke, Let's create our new memories, which I will edge in my soul and heart and will never forget again. their current mood did not allowed them to linger any further in the arcade, they decided to wonder around on foot. It was late afternoon, and the amusement park was winding down. There was a light golden hue in the sky, and the fading noises in the distance.
Kaidrix and Lumina were walking side by side, leisurely. Now and then, the sounds of children's laughter could be heard from afar. Walking along a tree-lined path that led outside the park, they left the park. Each, in their thoughts, kept walking along the road, and they found an old sweetgum tree with squares around it and sat beneath it. The wind picked up slightly, fluttering Lumina's long and silky hair, creating an image of a clear night sky with twinkling stars. Sunset light painted her features softly, with leaves falling from the sweetgum tree, the leaves with vibrant hues of red were making the scene even more magical, kaidrix felt mesmerized in her beauty, her soft smile could palpitate any man's heart. She gave a blush, noticed kaidrix gaze at her, and he was mesmerized by her beauty.
"These glances, these gestures, such a tempting display,
Don't spill these wines in the public's way.
evening deepens, bringing beauty anew,
Don't brush away these shadows from your view.
Don't cast traps with your dark, flowing hair,
Let us live, O beauties, show some care." ...1
It was dark, Lumina and kaidrix were still sitting under that tree, there was a small public lamp under the sweetgum tree, softly illuminating the surroundings with its faint yellow light. And fireflies started flying around the tree, some of them were sitting on the tree trunk, with their blinking like twinkling little stars. This whole scene was giving other otherworldly appearance, talking about their childhood. Lumina opened up another memory from their childhood, "I remember a time once we ran to the tree area near your house, to catch fireflies, with a jar. It was dark. And I was super scared." you persuaded me to stay with you, your comforting words worked like an iron wall shielding me from fear. The same words you spoke today, "I will always be your knight in shining armor, and protect you from any harm."
kaidrix listened to her, trying to feel something from that past. He did not feel anything, but he was drawn to the way she remembered it. The way she spoke about the past, like she was watching those scenes right in front of her, he felt her heart in every word she spoke. He said, "I do not remember that night, but it makes me wish I did. The way you talk about it. The way you smile. Make me adore you, and then sudden sadness on your face, makes me desire to shield you from every sorrow."
She replied, "I have come to terms with it now, but you have to compensate me for the lost time. And you do not have to remember everything. Something's.... we can live again, and you better not leave me this time." Her eyes were full of tears, looking into his eyes expectantly.
"Ino longer roam in search of taverns,
God forbid, I do not have such time these days.
Blessed be the intoxication in your eyes,
I no longer need wine or drunken ways.
Why speak of breaking all ties with me?
When there is no one else, I call my own
If you ask, I could forget myself
But forgetting you? That strength I have never known
You always pass by, stealing secret glances,
Yet avoid my gaze--so subtle, so sly.
Tell me, my love, just answer me this,
If it is not love... then what is this?
A thousand desires may live in the heart,
But only one wish keeps me alive:
Call me yours--just once, just truly--
Beyond that, I have no dreams to survive." ...2
Wind picked up again, slowly fluttering Lumina's hair gently, her expectant eyes still looking into kaidrix eyes, looking for an answer. Fireflies flying around, occasionally one or two caught unexpectedly by Lumina's fluttering hairs, they shine like amber in her hairs, making her a fairy descending from the heavens. Directly into kaidrix's arms. kaidrix, who was looking at Lumina's face, when he met her gaze, was shaken; he felt something long lost in his heart awoke again, shaking his entire being, mesmerized by her beauty. And expectation in her eyes, kaidrix, without thinking, held her face into his hands, and planted his lips onto hers, her eyes opened wide with surprise and an unexpected look. Then, in acceptance, she closed her eyes. Their lips met---Gently at first. No rush. Just the soft press of emotion too deep for words.
It's not passionate or wild---it's quiet, and deep and trembling with unsaid things. The kind of kiss where two broken pieces realized they still fit. Time seemed to slow down, and after an unknown period. Their lips separated, no longer shy and hesitant, Lumina rests her forehead against his. Neither spoke, and the fireflies were flickering around them like floating stars. For the first time, kaidrix felt this way for a girl; he did not feel empty, did not feel hollow. But warmth for her, and the feeling of love, the feeling to spend his whole life with her. he embraced her in his arms. Then he spoke, "Does this count as compensation?" Her cheeks turned red; she, facing the other way, grumpily spoke, "You had to speak." But no, this is not enough, I want your whole life. "What!... do you want to murder me?" With a soft chuckle, she spoke, "No idiot, I want you to spend your whole life with me. Not a single day missing," kaidrix mischievously pressing his forehead slightly forward, looking into her sparkling eyes. And spoke... "Aren't you a little greedy?" She spoke, "No, I am not. You are greedy, staying away from me for all these years." She acted like a grumpy kid by spreading her cheeks. At last, joking, laughing, the night took them into their embrace.
It was a dark, deep, blinding night. Dark shadows were looming in the night. Occasionally, hissing noises can be heard from a distance. If you zoom out a little and have heavenly eyes, you could see a desolate ancient graveyard. On the right side of this graveyard was a tomb, and inside the tomb was an ancient throne. Who has seen eons of life but still stands firmly on its legs? On it was a corpse sitting alert, as if you approached any further, its eyes would be open and it would devour you, but it was as good as a dead could be. Sitting in front of it was a tall, muscular man who had patterns all over his body, glowing a faint bloody light, his upper body was bare, and he was wearing short green pants to the knees, accessories were covering his arms and legs, and he had round iron ring around his neck, giving him a fierce, ruthless look. He had white pointed hairs, standing on his head upwards, and he was absorbing some sort of energy from the corpse.
All of a sudden, a person appeared behind him, with a boom, his sudden appearance stirred up a cloud of dust in the room, and nearby dusty vases and jars that were already crumbling away over time shattered into pieces. This person was thin and tall, wearing clothes with pointy collars, with a complementary red and dark green color contrast. He had two visible fangs under his red lips; overall, he had pale white skin with short, black, Gothic teased hairs on his head. 3
Without wasting any time, the man grabbed the sitting man by his neck, and buried his sharp pointy fangs into his neck, sucking him dry, then he doped the corpse on the floor, which was dry devoid of blood, and his muscular body turned thin as a paper, as if its going to wither away anytime. The whole tomb shook with his evil laughter's "Finally...O-blood.. O-blood hahaha I finally tasted you, your immortal blood is delicious, I feel every fiber of my being filled with power." But suddenly, he felt something was wrong; he lost control of his body, which was bleeding from all of his orifices. Creating a horrifying scene. A few moments ago, he was laughing, and now he was screaming in pain.
The flowing blood flew in the air in front of the man, and slowly took the shape of a humanoid. The humanoid blood spoke in a whispering tongue, "I am blood itself. Only I can drink blood. Nobody can drink blood from blood, I am immortal." Then the whole graveyard shook with his laughter..... With a few hand signs, he created the blood seal with his blood and pointed to the man's brows, who was frozen in place, unable to move, with a terrified look on his face. "Sorry, I was wrong to betray you, blood, please spare my life." Blood spoke: "Wrong... you said... wrong... hahahaha.... You fool, I still feel value in you; otherwise, how could you have survived til now?"
"Giving you a last chance, but you will be punished. Go... and bring me the immortal chaos body. Don't fail me this time, or you will be devoured..." Then, he placed the blood seal between his brows, making him a blood slave.
With a loud boom and amidst this chaos. Kaidrix and Lumina opened their eyes under the sweetgum tree. They were confused. From a distance, they could see smoke rising and the earth crumbling. Pieces of land floating in the air, and blood splashed on them like they had been washed with blood. Lumina and kaidrix were horrified. Suddenly, Monarik appeared like the wind. And spoke with an angry voice. I have been madly searching for both of you this whole time, and you have been here, oblivious to the world. I have been worried sick about you both. Kaidrix spoke Sorry, uncle, it was my fault. That we stayed here. We should have at least informed you of our location. Monarik in a hurry, "What's done is done, now let's just go. We are in a situation here."
Monarik took them both and disappeared from this site. Soon, as he disappeared, a black shadow appeared in his place with a swoosh. "I thought there was someone at this place. I sensed some disturbance here, whoever you are, alas, you can't run forever." Then, he disappeared like the wind, chasing after them. Monarik appeared on a cliff alongside Lumina and Kaidrix.
This mountain was a very remote area, and the cliff area was small, just enough for a couple of people could stand on. In the middle of this cliff, there was a newly built platform that had four small pillars at every corner of the platform, and a circular diagram on the surface of the platform. Monarik lit all four pillars with his spirit energy. The diagram on the surface started glowing. "We need to hurry, they attacked the whole planet, in search of us. I mourn for these innocent people. But we are not strong enough to fight back. and defend this planet." Monarik spread blue Crystals on the four pillars of the platform. Each crystal absorbed by the pillar turned it extremely bright. Then the diagram circle started widening under their feet in engulfing the whole platform in it. A pillar of light was shot into the sky from the platform. Vibrating every single particle in the air.
The pressure was so high that it could shake even the souls of a living being if near it. Slowly, the cliff shattered into pieces, but the platform was completely fine. From the look of it, Monarik Prepared Well. Suddenly, a shadow appeared in the air near the cliff, and he started bleeding from all of his orifices. It was hard for him to even move; he was floating in the air because there was no longer any ground left under the platform. The pillar of light was keeping everything away from the platform. He took a blood colored talisman from his clothes and started doing hand signs with defficulty, in order to create a powerful attack that could destroy the teleportation platform and stop them from leaving. Watching the whole scene develop against His plan. Monarik was tensed up, speeding up the whole process.
He threw a lot of blue crystals onto the pillars, which, as a result, absorbed them all. The air shook, and everything vibrated within a radius of 10 miles around the platform. The man coughed up blood, but he did not stop gathering up power in the talisman. The light from the platform cracked open a fisher in the sky and began to rise toward it, taking the trio with it, and slowly speeding up its ascent towards the fisher in the sky. Amid this whole event, the man finally launched his attack on the platform. The platform shook. Monarik protected it with his energy, but the attack was too strong, resulting in several cracks appearing on the platform. Monarik coughed up blood. The attack failed to crush the platform completely. Shaking the platform ascended very fast in the fisher, leaving no further chances of any kind of attack. Watching the scene unfold in front of his eyes man tried to jump with them into the fisher but halted by the strong light of the platform, which acted like a barrier. Monarik was holding the platform with his energy. Finally platform entered the fisher, leaving Earth, and the fisher closed with a crackling sound because there was no light pillar or force that could make it stay open.
