Crow's face twisted in a mask of fury, the anger seething through his clenched jaw.But then, with a deliberate breath, he pressed his palm to his face, hiding the storm within, before lowering it slowly with a practiced calm.
"Well."
"That certainly puts a big ol' wedge straight into the middle of my plans."
"How much of your soul did you give him?"
"Half."
"Well mortals really are fools." Crow shuddered at Julius' incompetence. He pulled his long pink hair, adding "But that's not what's important at the current moment."
Julius gulped down hard. "What is important then?"
Crow's grin widened, his voice dropping to a dangerous murmur."You think Azonold gave you enough? He's playing games. You need power—and I'm the one who can give it to you."
Julius was stuck.
On one hand, a huge part of him was cheering and all for handing over the so-called 'bodies' of the demons. But a small part of him wondered if it was worth potentially eradicating 3 souls just for one lifetime.
