She had not seen his face as he had his back facing the bright sun so his face overshadowed by the bright sun rays that stroked his presumably handsome face was not clear to her. Standing up from the bed to move to the bathroom, she was hit with a sharp pain in her head and everything began to blur. Panicked, she tried to grab onto anything close and everything became pitch black slowly. "No, please no." She mumbled frightened. She feared the dark and it seemed like someone had turned off the lights.
This was the scene that welcomed Fu Hanan . He quickly reached to her when she almost fell down, pulling her to himself,"Why are the blinds drawn? You are extremely light sensitive and it can trigger pain and momentary blindness any moment." He asked calmly holding her waist. Without her sight,her other senses were very active. Feeling his hand on her waist and the heat his body radiated, she blushed from the close contact and stummered saying,
" I woke up with them drawn. I don't know who did. Thanks for helping but can you let me go now. I need to shower."she mumbled angrily and he looked down at her. "You can't even see, how will you locate the bathroom." He said arrogantly. "Help draw the blinds then my sight will return to me."she whispered angrily as if stating the obvious.
Looking down at her, he led her along calmly and drew the blinds then let go of her waist as she sight return in fragments. "Hurry we leave in 10 minutes." He said then left the room silently looking at his watch. She puffed out a breath of relief as she blushed from her thoughts earlier. " Pull yourself together. You have one mission in life now." She became focused again and showed then dressed up in a formal outfit then complemented it with a pair of fashionable glasses and Mary Jane's. Moving downstairs, she found Hanan taking coffee while reading a newspaper.
Sensing her presence, he set his cup aside and stood up moving to the staircase. He strtched out his hand and she took it with a polite smile and the two moved to the car that was prepared for departure.
Sitting in the car, she asked herself how yesterday night ended up with the desicion, marriage.
"So what do you think about this idea. I don't offer a contract with a deadline, we can't in fact be a married couple of convenience. Partners with benefits." He added. She thought it through. In this world they were in one needed power and money to succeed.
