She found the phone and took it, she saw that it was Jane's phone that was ringing, she recognised it because she had shown it to her the day Chris bought it for her
She checked the caller ID and saw that it was Mrs Whitney, she must be calling to check up on her, she didn't know what she was to say to her but she picked up the call anyway
"good morning Mrs Whitney" she greeted
"good morning is that Jane?" Mrs Whitney asked over the phone
"no it's not Jane, she's not around for now I will let her know that you called" she lied to her
"you don't have to lie to me; I already saw the news; please tell me what hospital my girl is in," she said as she started crying; what she had just told her could only mean that what Zain had said was the truth.
Seeing that she was caught, Grace did not have any option but to come out clean "We are at the city hospital once you arrive just call me I will have a nurse come pick you up" she said and hung up the call
