Larissa narrowed her eyes, stepping forward slowly. "Seven thrones? Like… the Seven Sins?"
Vivian's eyes sparkled as she eyed the thrones. "So… for us, then?" she said with a grin, flashing a look at the others.
Bella laughed nervously. "Please don't say it like that. You make it sound like we're already cursed."
Jane looked unusually energetic. "Should we sit on them? I mean, come on. They're just asking for someone dramatic to take the seat."
Shea flapped her wings and hovered above the thrones, brow furrowed. "It could be a trap. We're literally in the center of the Abyss. I vote we don't touch the big creepy chairs right away."
"You're no fun," Jane pouted.
Allen remained quiet for a moment, just staring at the glyph in the center.
Then he spoke. "I'm more interested in the platform."
The girls turned toward him.
"Cover me," he said simply. "If something happens, don't hesitate."
