First of all, he had no desire to expose the fact that he was either a human or a non-human.
No one, not even Pamela or Divine was certain that he was not a human. He was certain that they had their suspicions because a human could not be as talented as he was.
However, the crucial fact was that they had their suspicions and Corey had no desire to make these suspicions facts.
Another reason why he chose to remain silent was because Prince's words touched a deep part of him he had been subconsciously pushing to the back of his mind.
Was he still a human?
Was he a Paragon?
Or was he currently half Paragon, half human?
Or was he neither, and he was becoming something else because of his talents?
