Letting out a tired sigh, Zion chuckled after a moment. It's funny, somehow. He still remembered the way Suga's face paled at the sight of the ownership certificate with his name printed on it, how his hands trembled as he flipped through the documents.
Zion couldn't wait to see what other reactions Suga would have once the research project he was working on with William was finally complete. After that, they'd have plenty of time to relax, and maybe then— maybe— he could finally focus on making Suga stop being afraid of him.
He wasn't dense. He could see it— how Suga often tiptoed around him during conversations, how he sometimes averted his gaze, or how, whenever they sat together to watch a movie, Suga's eyes would drift toward the CCTV cameras, then to the walls, his expression turning somber.
Out of habit, Zion pulled out his phone to check Suga's location— only to freeze, his grip tightening slightly on the device.
Suga doesn't even have a phone right now.
