Lying on the moonlit platform, Di Tou looked like he was just casually swaying there and had no personal connection to what happened to the moonlit stage at all! It was as if he was a poorly paid guard who showed up just for attendance but hidden underneath his casual appearance was an entirely different story.
At that moment, each and every one of his muscles was tensed, and he was ready to leap into the moonlit stage at the first sign of anything strange at all. The mobile abode, the needle-weaved hammock, any of the numerous projects he had worked on over the past year could be easily abandoned at the drop of the hat, as long as he got the opportunity to go out!
But alas, Di Tou was destined to yet again be disappointed.
For the eleventh month in a row, nothing happened. No flash of lights, no illusion of tea, nothing.
Letting out a sigh, Di Tou lightly shook his head and his muscles relaxed as he fully leaned into the needle hammock while considering what to do next.
