When Di Tou swept, at the very least, when he swept this time, the end result didn't look 'perfect' or like everything was brand new. In fact, on the soil, it was fairly obvious that although it was smooth, it had been swept recently.
Looking at it… it felt homely?
After all, a place where a person stayed was never perfectly pristine, but neither would it be a pigsty… unless one was a pig of course. A swept home was a comfortable home, the sort of home that you had when you were a child and your mom and dad took good care of you, or the type of home you would have when you were stable and life was although perhaps not easy, stable.
A swept home represented children running around and causing a mess, or the presence of friends the night before. It just felt more lived in…
