To be honest, this idea wasn't really inherently bad, as as a Void Returning Stage expert, it would be a shame if he didn't use his capabilities to his advantage! The issue was that this didn't fundamentally solve the problem Di Tou was having regarding stabilizing space that was 'far away' or in another world, but was instead a bit of a 'half solution' that solved the problem by disregarding the rules.
It was sort of like someone deciding that they wanted to save money, and thus wouldn't eat out anymore, just to order food to be delivered to their home. They weren't eating out, this was true, but it wasn't really solving the fundamental issue of spending money and getting food both cooked and sent to you by a third party.
