The slightly soft and gentle countenance that appeared a second ago had entirely morphed into one of indifference and impassivity in the next.
"The two who appeared on the battlefield yesterday were Micah Carson and Ten of the vampire race," the member of the alien race, who appeared to be Seth's subordinate, said. "This subordinate does not have any knowledge of their continued presence there as of today."
"Why did you just say it now?" Although Seth almost had no expression on his soulless, doll-like, yet elegant visage, the invisible, pressing aura he exuded still told the others that he seemed to be a little discontent and annoyed.
"It is because this subordinate is afraid that the intelligence that this subordinate has gotten is false," the subordinate replied swiftly.
"All right," Seth said. "You can withdraw."
There is no need to bestow a harsh punishment on a subordinate who has pledged his loyalty to him alone because of this little thing.
