Silence can exist anywhere, as long as one simple condition is met: the absence of human interaction and conversation. Like this empty classroom. Yet, silence does not always equate to tranquility. The constant hum of the air conditioner, the footsteps of people passing through the corridor, and the muffled commotion from the next room... all of these could still penetrate the existing stillness.
Zeyn's eyes snapped open, accompanied by a heavy sigh of disappointment. Once again, he failed to sense any external energy he could absorb. In the end, the only thing he could feel was his own chakra. The empty classroom apparently didn't guarantee a smooth meditation. Perhaps he should consider Mr. Hendri's suggestion—to meditate in the wild instead.
"Yo! You're seriously skipping sports class?" Kriss appeared at the doorway. "Wait, why are you sitting like that in front of the class?"
