"Come on," she took my hand in hers before I could so much as blink, and she dragged me towards the only bench in the garden when the maid ran off, only to return moments later with three guards in tow.
I sat next to the queen and watched as the guards hurled the wolves up from the floor like they weighed nothing.
"You couldn't have come at a better time," the queen smiled at me, still holding my hand in hers and not willing to let go.
It's funny how she's acting this way with me when she treated me well back I'm Dark Moon just because I happened to be pregnant. It's not that I'm complaining.
Having my mother-in-law dote on me is such a good feeling which I don't wish to get rid of, not at all.
"Well," I nervously chuckled as I ran my left hand through my hair, smiling at her. "I happened to be at the right place at the right time," which I'm grateful for. Had I not been looking for Sky, I wouldn't have been here in time to save the queen from the rogues.
