The elder brought me to the same place that I had come to when I first came to the village.
This was the place where I had met all of the elders of the village previously.
It was just that this time, it was the two of us.
It was completely different than when I first came to this elven village. It had reached a point where I was someone that was accepted by the elves and even respected by them.
They no longer needed to treat me with caution or fear since I was one of them.
But there was an awkward silence that lingered in the air as we just sat there on the cushions.
Eventually, the elder finally said with a sigh, "I'm sure that you're wondering what the situation between them is. Well, not just them, but also the relationship between me and my daughter, right?"
I slowly gave a nod in response without saying anything.
I just looked at the elder and waited to hear what she had to say.
But after asking this question, the elder fell silent again.
