Ji Yuhan leaned back against the table beside him, arms crossed as he considered her words. His gaze was steady, thoughtful, like he was weighing something in his mind. Then, after a brief pause, he spoke.
"You're here almost every day, sure. But you don't have scenes every minute." His voice was even, matter-of-fact. "And you get plenty of break time."
Chen Lin frowned slightly, listening.
Ji Yuhan glanced at her, then continued, "I've seen you during those breaks. You don't do much besides go over the script."
Chen Lin nodded. "That's what I was thinking too."
Ji Yuhan tilted his head slightly, a hint of amusement in his expression. "Then why not use that time?"
Chen Lin hesitated. She already had the answer in her mind, but voicing it out loud made it feel more real. "Because I'm here to act. I'm being paid for it. Studying during work hours… it wouldn't be right." A pause. "Director Peng might think I'm not taking the job seriously."
