Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Tony Stark

"Quick, grab him!"

The police swiftly rushed into the venue and apprehended Ivan Vanke, who had fallen to the ground.

"Mr. Arthur, thank you very much for your help!"

The leading policeman approached Arthur and saluted him.

The video of Arthur defeating the monsters had become immensely popular, garnering the most views on Twitter and Facebook.

"It's nothing, I just did what I could. You are the real heroes. Thanks to you, society's stability is guaranteed!"

"For a show, who wouldn't? As someone who has watched three seasons of [Black Robe Pickets], one word comes to mind: 'professional.'"

"Mr. Arthur, can I trouble you to sign this for me?"

The leading policeman eagerly presented a pen and paper.

"Sure!"

Arthur signed his name as Superman.

"Hey! Why are you here? Aren't you in America?" Tony, originally a proud and conceited person, became immediately unsettled and blurted out when he saw someone more popular than himself.

"This isn't a good place to talk!" Arthur replied casually.

At that moment, a car sped in—it was Tony's secretary, Pepper, and his driver, Happy.

"Oh my God!"

Overwhelmed by the chaotic scene, Pepper immediately ran out of the car and threw herself into Tony's arms.

"Tony, are you crazy?"

"Don't worry, baby, I'm fine!"

Tony reassured her.

"You madman! Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

Little Pepper cried and cursed loudly.

"Can we go back and talk?"

Happy couldn't help but complain.

"Of course!"

Tony approached Arthur and handed him a business card.

"Mr. Arthur, thank you very much for saving my life! If you need anything, you can come to Stark Tower and find me!"

'It's done. I owe you a favor, and I'm asking for your help. It would be too embarrassing for you to refuse!'

Arthur thought to himself as he took the business card.

Tony then drove away. Watching the crowd approaching him for autographs, Arthur waved his hand and flew straight into the sky.

After a minute, Arthur returned to his house in New York. (The rabbit charm set here is very strong—refer to the previous chapters for details.)

Meanwhile, at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters...

"Director, Target 1 has made contact with Iron Man, Tony Stark,"

the agent monitoring Tony Stark hastily reported to Nick Fury.

As for Arthur's side? Ever since he discovered and swiftly incapacitated the most covert agents in less than 30 seconds, tossing them onto a skyscraper with hundreds of floors, Nick Fury had temporarily given up on monitoring Superman.

"Okay, I understand. Let's get back to work!"

"Yes, Director!"

"Superman! Superman! How do we contain this guy?"

Nick Fury paced anxiously around the office.

...

After staying indoors for two days, Arthur deduced that Tony had returned to America and flew toward Stark Tower.

"Stop, sir! This is Stark Tower. We can't allow you in without permission!"

Security guards halted Arthur as soon as he arrived at the entrance.

He had no choice but to take out his phone and call the number on Tony's business card.

This business card was Tony's personal card, given only to those close to him.

"Hey, who's this?"

A tired voice came from the other end of the line.

It seemed the poison in Tony Stark's body had taken a toll on him.

"Remember the person who saved you in Morocco two days ago?"

Arthur said casually.

"Oh, it's you. What's the matter?"

"I need your help with something."

"Okay, after all, I owe you a favor. Come directly to Stark Tower."

"I'm downstairs now, but the security guard won't let me in."

"I'll inform him."

The call ended.

Not long after, the security guard approached and respectfully escorted Arthur inside.

"Sir, I'm terribly sorry. I didn't realize you actually knew Mr. Stark..."

"Just do your job well. Can I go in now?"

"Of course, please come in!"

Later, Tony arranged for a beautiful woman to escort Arthur to the top floor, where Tony Stark awaited.

"Superman? Or should I call you Arthur?"

Tony, being a genius, had checked Arthur's information the previous night.

"Call me Arthur. It feels more ordinary."

"You can fly, right? Why climb up from below like a turtle? I thought you'd be flying around in the sky like Superman in the comics!"

Tony poured himself a drink, showing off his knack for hurting others.

If someone didn't know his character, they would have knocked him to the ground by now.

"Of course I can fly in, but I wasn't sure what you were up to, and I didn't want to catch you doing some shady stuff."

Arthur retorted without showing any weakness.

After exchanging a few words, the two became acquainted.

"I saved someone two days ago, and now I'm here to repay the favor. You don't look much like Superman yourself!"

Tony took a sip of his wine and teased.

"What kind of hero is nothing more than a guy in a costume!"

Arthur shrugged casually and replied.

"So, why did you come to see me?"

Tony cut to the chase, ending the small talk.

"I heard that you designed an artificial intelligence..."

"How did you know?" Tony asked suspiciously.

"I heard it!" Arthur replied nonchalantly.

"Hahaha! You guys don't really have all the abilities of Superman! Jarvis, say hello to Arthur!"

A cold voice sounded in the room.

"Hi, Mr. Arthur, I'm Jarvis!"

"Hello, Jarvis!" Arthur greeted.

"Why did you mention Jarvis?"

"I want an AI like Jarvis!"

"What? You want Jarvis?" Tony exclaimed protectively.

"You misunderstood. I meant I want a similar artificial intelligence system as Jarvis. For a genius like you, inventing another one shouldn't be a problem, right?" Arthur said casually.

"Sorry, Jarvis's success was a result of chance and various factors. I don't have the ability to create a new artificial intelligence!"

"And besides, I don't have the energy for it in my current state! You can change the subject!" Tony refused.

"So, what about a set of the latest steel armor?" Arthur suggested.

"Absolutely impossible! I am the only Iron Man in this world!"

Tony grew even more protective. The title of Iron Man was as important to him as his own life.
