Listening to his subordinate murmuring in his ear, he immediately slapped the top of the subordinate's head:
"Shut up."
After uttering these words, he saw his subordinate immediately closed his mouth and his gaze shifted back to the silk paper in his hand.
On it, a map of the local terrain was drawn.
Moreover, a small path was specially marked out.
It was clear that this small path could lead directly out of Yumen Pass.
If he were to leave through this path, it would probably go unnoticed.
However, he now frowned, obviously puzzled and uncertain.
Whose doing was this, and what could be the purpose?
Could it be that the enemy wanted to distract him and lead him astray?
Would following the small path lead him into endless ambushes?
He quickly dismissed this thought.
If the enemy indeed wanted to strike at him, they wouldn't wait for him to discover and venture there.
Or perhaps they wouldn't set a trap for him.
