He had also witnessed the creation of Galactus, during the Sixth Cosmos which was devoted to science and is said to have began the concept, one of its planets was Taa, a highly advanced world said to be unmatched by any other. A Taa-an named Galan found out that their universe was dying due to a "plague" known the Black Winter and the last Taa-ans launched a ship to the terminal point of the universe and Galan met the Sentience of the Cosmos, who informed him that they were both dying but would pass on to the next cycle as a new lifeform: Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds. According to the Black Winter, it intentionally spared Galan so that Galactus could become its herald, and soon after the Multiverse entered its renewal cycle, the Seventh Cosmos was originated from the ashes of the Sixth Infinity, and with it, its new embodiments, Eternity and Infinity. The newborn Galactus eventually ended up in the seventh iteration of his universe, now called Earth-616/Earth-199999
After nearly 8 billion years it was finally time to see the Seventh Cosmos, now it was time to see the Progenitor die, how the other gods came to be and upon entering the Abyss left by the destruction of the sixth universe they filled it with the seventh universe. They soon encountered Knull, a primordial god of darkness who had ruled over that Abyss before everything came in to existence and tried to recruit him as the King in Black but enraged by their request Knull attacked and decapitated a Celestial using a sword of living darkness, and began a war against the Celestials and their creations The body and soul of the fallen Celestial were bound to Knull and trapped in the Realm Between, while the severed head was turned into the mining city and space station of Knowhere
The Celestials soon discovered the infinity stones that came into existence were of one of the earliest beings from the time of the universe's creation. Feeling lonely, it split itself into six different fragments. Under unknown reasons, each individual gem became associated with a particular facet: power, space, time, mind, soul and reality and they were also responsible for sending them to their respective universes. The Infinity Stones (formerly known as the Infinity Gems and the Soul Gems) are powerful artifacts that originated from a primordial universe, found below the Quarry of Creation and inhabited by Celestials.That universe contains countless Infinity Stones, which get sent to other universes by the Celestials.
The Progenitor was an Alpha Celestial who came to Earth four billion years ago after being infected by the Horde to die a sad and painful death. The Celestial's diseased body fluids seeped into the Earth and percolated through the planet's primeval surface, forever altering the Earth's evolutionary trajectory. This process constituted the primordial cause that gave rise to the superhuman abnormalities present in many of Earth's inhabitants.The Progenitor's corpse laid unmoved within the Arctic Circle, and its resting place became the bottom of the Arctic Ocean at the North Pole.
Also another Celestial known as Zgreb the Aspirant arrived on Earth in search of the Progenitor. Zgreb found the Progenitor's corpse but it was infested by millions of Horde bugs that soon infected Zgreb. However, having learned from their experience with the Progenitor, this time the Horde bugs did not kill the Celestial but the infection deranged and weakened Zgreb. When its rampage brought it into conflict with the Avengers of the Stone Age, Zgreb had been weakened enough that the Avengers were able to defeat it and bury it deep underground in what would become the modern-day country of South Africa, bound by powerful spells. Once they noticed that two of their race were missing, the Celestial First Host came to Earth to investigate and easily defeated the Stone Age Avengers. The First Host subsequently found both Zgreb and the Progenitor's body but, for reasons of their own, left Earth without disturbing it.
Just after its creation, the Ethereal Energy of Life spawned Demiurge, who seeded the planet with its energies, creating the Elder Gods. Many continents also eventually formed, including Gondwanaland and Laurasia.
After half a billion years, 4.5 billion years ago, the formation of "building block of life" from waters stirred by volcanic heat and lightning's pulse led to the primordial cell, who divided in two cells, one of them (That Which Endures) modifying his genetic pattern and both reassembling, before splintering again and spreading that change into all descendant of that first organism, manifesting its intellect in random creatures every 100,000 years, transferring itself from species to species in order to remain in the fittest host-species. Another half a billion gave birth to many more gods that are well known in the modern era, with Gaea later becoming the mother goddess of Earth's second generation of gods.
Millions of years later (500 million years ago), diversity of life began to manifest itself,with fish. Those new forms of organic life were watched over by Gaea who became life's protector.
Life spread, with the plants who first invaded Earth, then the great forests, soon fish crawled Earth, as the first amphibious life, the Lizards and Dinosaurs eventually appeared, life developed within 100 to 200 million years, the Age of Set, and the first mammals rose as well.
Eventually, Gaea and Which That Endures decided to let the Dinosaurs fade in profit for those mammals. Set refused that, and sent his Dinosaurs to try to eradicate the mammals, but was countered by Atum, Som of Gaea. The cosmic entities soon visited Earth to experimenton their prehistoric ancestors (a process they also carried out on several other planets). This resulted in the creation of two hidden races, the godlike Eternals and the genetically unstable Deviants, in addition to giving some humans an "x-factor" in their genes, which sometimes activates naturally, resulting in sometimes superpowered, sometimes disfigured individuals called mutants.
Soon our ancestors, the man-ape of the wanderers were abducted to be experimented on and then they evolved into Eternals, Deviants, Inhumans, Modern humans, Atlanteans, Mutants, and so on. Also millions of years ago a meteorite made of vibranium, the strongest substance in the universe, struck the continent of Africa, affecting the plant life around it centuries ago, as five African tribes battled over a meteorite made up of the metal vibranium, a warrior ingested a Heart-Shaped Herb affected by the metal and gained superhuman abilities. Becoming the first Black Panther, he united the five tribes and formed the nation of Wakanda.
