Akihara Village

A looked at the guy standing opposite him with a grin plastered on his face. Kazuya, as he introduced himself, stood with a calm look, both his palms raised in defense.
'Finally, a real fight!' he thought. His fingers clenched around his kunai as he waited for his opponent to make a move but he didn't. Finally losing his patience, he flickered toward his opponent, a string of lightning trailing behind him.
A quickly reached Kazuya and swung his kunai in a reverse grip. His grin widened as the black-haired boy stopped the kunai just before it touched his ear.
He quickly tried to pull his hand back from the boy, but the weird block he did locked his hand. Kazuya struck his knee, making his knee buckle that immediately made him kneel. Kazuya's knee followed, immediately reaching his head. He gritted his teeth and used his prized jutsu, knowing he had lost the first confrontation. Lightning covered him partially as he appeared some distance away.
Deactivating his jutsu, he looked at his opponent and spoke. "That was a weird Taijutsu."
"Thanks…?" The confused tone of his opponent made his eyebrow twitch.
"What is it called?"
"…Neo Wing-Chun." A memorized the name of the weird Taijutsu before summoning his jutsu again.
"Is that so? It's strong, but it won't work against my lightning cloak." He declared as a pale blue sheen covered him while lightning started flickering around him.
Unlike his father, A couldn't use the full version of the lightning cloak. His body still wasn't strong enough yet, but even an incomplete version gave him enough confidence to not lose to any kid around his age.
"Get ready!" Saying that, he disappeared from his position and appeared before him with his fist cocked, ready to strike.
He saw Kazuya's eyes widen as he barely redirected his fist using his weird Taijutsu-no Neo Wing-Chun. Even redirected the sheer speed created wind blades that opened a gash on his cheek, drawing trails of blood that dropped to the ground. But even caught off guard, A saw him kick at his ankle joint, trying to swipe his feet of the ground. Unfortunately, it was useless against his lightning cloak.
Grinning, he stabbed his palm at Kazuya, making him hurriedly block. He used the same block as before and trapped his arm between his own two, but this time the force behind the attack was too much for him to handle. Kazuya's body lifted off the ground and was pushed back a few meters.
He prepared to launch another attack and pulled his hand back but frowned when he couldn't.
'If I can't pull, then I'll push!' And push he did, but suddenly Kazuya rotated his body, making him stumble and fall toward him. Before he knew it, he was slammed onto the ground… hard!
For a few seconds, he stared at the sky dumbly, trying to understand what had happened.
Was that a reverse shoulder slam? he asked himself, but suddenly his vision was enveloped by a sandal. He quickly rolled over as Kazuya's foot struck where his face had been.
He quickly stood up and stared at his opponent. For the very first time since the start of the battle or more like in his life he calmly thought before acting.
A's features turned serious, his grin completely wiped out. A look of sheer concentration appeared on his face. Countless thoughts went through his mind before he acted, a feat his father would have been proud of if he saw.
His body once again disappeared, but this time, rather than appearing before his opponent arrogantly and giving him time to react, he appeared above him, completely out of his sight, his body already in a rotating motion to deliver an axe kick.
No time was given to his opponent to react but suddenly A remembered that if his kick connected, Kazuya would definitely die.
'Fuck!' He rotated his body wanting to change the direction of his kick, but his control wasn't enough to change it at the last moment. His speed was too much to handle.
Finally, his kick connected and dust immediately covered his eyes. He quickly jumped back and looked toward Kazuya, his heart beating crazily.
"We need to retreat…" one of the Jonin tagging along said, making him slowly nod. But before they could even turn, they felt dozens of presences.
'Ah shit!' he cursed, regretting his decision to force the Jonin into his reckless action. They weren't coming here to challenge these Shinobis. But he convinced them, saying that fighting Shinobi of this village might reveal some information, since they had failed to find anything in the two days they'd been here.
Shaking his head, A looked ahead as the dust settled, revealing Kazuya with a masked shinobi standing before him.
He sighed at the sight, his heart calming down but he didn't let his guard down.
Finally, the presences they felt earlier revealed themselves a group of masked people like the one protecting Kazuya.
He and the Jonin, Sui and Zy, stood back to back as the masked men encircled them. Just as they prepared to be attacked, a voice sounded, deep and commanding. The masked man who had saved Kazuya told them to retreat, and retreat they did.
"So we can leave, hehe…?" Sui asked nervously, scratching his cheek. The masked man, who seemed to be the leader, spoke again.
"No… you follow me." Saying that, he turned his back to them and started running toward the biggest building in the village.
A and the Jonin looked at each other, conversing silently. Seeing no way out of the situation, they ultimately followed the masked man after a brief hesitation.
