Edward Anderson's expression was a bit stiff: "Did she really say that?"
Bella Scott actually put him on the same level as a dog - how outrageous!
No matter what, he was way more handsome than a dog, right?
"It's true!" Clarky said with contempt, looking at Edward Anderson.
Edward Anderson could only retreat without achieving anything and go back the way he came.
As soon as he left, Clarky was about to report the incident to Bella Scott, but Bella had already come out and was staring blankly at Edward Anderson's retreating figure.
"What's so good about looking at that fake?" Clarky asked, puzzled.
Why was Bella looking at the imposter with such an infatuated expression? Was this their wise and capable leader?
Realizing her lapse, Bella sighed lightly: "You don't understand."
"How would I know if you don't tell me?" Clarky followed Bella.
