My cousin sighed. "Just when I thought you were finally growing up. Guess I'll just have some find someone else to spar with."
I crossed my arms and scoffed. "Fine, ya on!"
Saffron smirked. "If you want, you can even have Tasuku help you out."
I clicked my tongue and pouted. "Hmph, I won't ask him for help."
Mariah chuckled. "Mi, don't let Saffron taunt you like this."
I crossed my arms and smiled. "I know he's just egging me on. That means he really wants to fight."
Saffron laughed, shaking his head. "You always were good at reading me."
I grinned, feeling a rush of excitement. "So, when and where?"
Saffron nodded towards the training area outside the cafeteria. "How about after lunch? We can head over to the training grounds."
Mariah raised an eyebrow. "I'll be the referee, if you two don't mind."
"That's fine. You or uncle would always referee our sparring matches when we were kids," Saffron said, shrugging his shoulders.
