The Shaolin Temple was in complete disarray, and Su Xin deftly led his group out of Shaoshi Mountain.
The move by the Lotus Zen Temple was unexpected; Shidaoxuan, the old monk, was outrageously strong, so much so that Su Xin temporarily had no way to deal with him. Even if he were to fight with all his might, his chances were not great.
However, having finally made his way to the Shaolin Temple, Su Xin couldn't leave without accomplishing anything. He had killed quite a few Shaolin martial artists, which could be seen as recovering some interest.
And that final battle against Shidaoxuan, he indeed wanted to use the monk's power to hone his own martial arts, which was a happy surprise.
Su Xin was already on the threshold of the Divine Bridge Realm, just one step away from crossing over.
