Frank Chamberlain was terrified and bewildered.
He knew that at times like these, one must stay calm.
But he couldn't help himself, he couldn't control his urge to question Charles Coldwell.
He had just degraded himself, by kneeling in front of Hannah Coldwell in front of everyone.
He had placed all his chips on Hannah Coldwell.
"Marshal Coldwell, why on earth would you do this? Hannah, she's your daughter, your daughter... How could you do this to her..."
"Mr. President, there's no need to rush, I have my reasons."
Charles Coldwell clapped his hands, and Uncle Williams, along with some soldiers, brought the heavily bleeding Hannah Ford, lifting her from the crowd and dragging her to Charles Coldwell.
Bright red blood flowed down Hannah Ford's legs, leaving long trails of blood on the ground.
The intense smell of blood was nauseating.
Hannah Ford was almost unconscious from the pain, covering her broken nose, sobbing and murmuring something inaudible.
