His kiss landed on her moist, wet cheek, causing a piercing pain in her heart. Tears incessantly fell, streaming from the corners of her eyes onto the grass beneath her. No matter how many promises were made, her heart still ached, and his tenderness at this moment only made her pain worsen.

Norris Moore walked back from the garden and saw Trenton Smith standing at the door.
Perhaps it was the dejected look on her face, the man appeared slightly tense.
She walked over, wrapped her arms around his waist, and buried her face in his chest, her voice muffled: "I accidentally made the girl cry."
She had gone to explain things to Aria Lulu, not to make her sad. The tears of Aria hurt her deeply.
She couldn't stand to see girls crying.
Hearing this, Trenton Smith let out a sigh of relief, and with a comforting tone, he gently patted the top of her head: "Rufus went there, didn't he? It'll be fine with him there."
