He stroked her hair and then lowered his head to kiss her cheek, his demeanor incredibly gentle.
Norris Moore's lips gently pursed as she buried her face in his embrace, taking a slight breath, before looking up at him: "What's the matter?"
"It's fine. I'll tell you tomorrow; get some rest early today."
Norris actually almost knew what it was, but she was a little surprised that he would actually come to discuss it with her.
Her eyes lowered, she reached out to wrap her arms around his waist, her voice carrying a whine: "Then I'm going to sleep. Remember to drink the milk, I personally brought it to you."
The man chuckled, patted her shoulder, and said warmly, "Go to sleep."
Norris Moore lifted her gaze to him, his handsome face shrouded in a faint shadow, making it impossible to discern the color of his eyes, but his expression was exceedingly gentle.
She tiptoed and pecked a kiss on his lips.
The man chuckled softly, "Alright, no more coquetry, go get some rest."
