Anna Jadwin glared at him speechlessly, "Charles Harrington, you are a prisoner now, yet you still act frivolously towards me! Do you know what the consequences will be?"
"I've always been one to accept toasts rather than punishments." Charles smiled, "You see, just seeing you once has bought me out, spilling so many secrets."
Wayne Bailey's eyes were dark and grim as he asked in a deep voice, "Are you finished?"
"For now." Charles spread his hands.
"Wilfred, do it!"
After he spoke, he left the restaurant holding Anna Jadwin. Wilfred caught up with them using his crutches and asked, "Young Master, are you really going to sew his mouth shut?"
"Do you question my orders?"
This was all Charles Harrington's own doing!
Charles Harrington watched Anna Jadwin's departing silhouette, his gaze deep as he slowly savored the cup of medicine.
As if it was the most delicious delicacy in the world.
