Sora frowned at the bystanders' more than adequate reflexes as he was making a gamble with that last attack; he wanted to take out at least Leo and Xavier, so he would only need to brute force the rest with space and lightning magic, but the other three were more or less fine. Not to mention, he was likely also going up again Xiao Feifei and Xiao Yaya after this.
Sure neither mage was much to the current him on a normal day, but he was now perpetually stopping a curse from spreading around his body, stopping himself from being frozen from the inside out, had been using magic almost nonstop for about 4 hours straight and had just burnt a large chunk of what mana he had left over to take out just 1 of the 4 skilled opponents he potentially needed to fight before he got to those two, especially considering that they weren't even weak mages by the current eras standard, he was just ridiculously strong on a normal day.
Sora was about to fully turn his attention to the other 3 when a poorly aimed arrow flew past his head from Leo's direction, Sora almost panicked as he scanned for Leo just to see that the 3rd year advanced mage had used his last moment of consciousness to try and weaken him some more, a thought that brought him some relief that his gamble wasn't a complete bust.
Sora sent out a series of 5 fire fist: flash spells, all aimed at Xavier, who didn't have time to react before he was bombarded by fire spells, hit directly by each one, and knocked out by the 5 resulting explosions of heat and force. Sora then launched a Fire Fist: Drive at Han-Yue, who condensed her 2 [Superior] Flame Spear spells together with her [Superior] Telekinesis spell and launched an attack of her own in turn.
Han-Yue flinched at the result explosion for long enough that Sora closed the distance with Thunder Stride: Dash and landed a clean flying roundhouse kick on her right temple, knocking her out cold. Standing over two unconscious bodies, Sora turned his attention to the now fully on guard Marcus, who had Feifei and Yaya offering him backup a little behind him. "I don't know what on earth you 3 stand to gain from this little stunt you're pulling, but hear me well... Once this fight is over I'll be remembered as the guy that that crippled the Xiao sisters, regardless of if I win or not", Sora warned once before entering a in-boxing stance and shifting his weight on his good leg.
Xiao Feifei backed up and attempted to cast her [Perfect] Corrosive curse arrow, but was struck in the sternum by a Fire fist: Flash, knocking the wind out of her lungs as she was sent flying into a nearby pile of fallen rock. She landed on her back and went limp on impact. Sora then launched himself at Xiao Yaya with his [Lesser] Mental Force force being channelled through his leg while he clocked Yaya's face with a charged up Fire Fist: Drive from point blank range, smacking her face on the ground behind her with a clean cross, knocking her out as well.
Sora glared daggers at Leo, who was just outside his hand-to-hand striking range, but dropped on one knee as the ice that was suppressing the curse on his leg was now fully thawed, and it had begun to spread again, slowly. Sora roared in anguish as he contemplated cutting the leg off outright to save himself the trouble, but he wasn't given the chance to finish that thought as Marcus, who was still fused with his Pugilist spirit beast, channeled fire into a fist from his spirit beast and launched a fire fist of his own. Though it had none of the technique and definition of Sora's sage series magic, it was raw condensed fire and was enough to blast Sora off his feet and launch him 20 yards across the damaged field.
Marcus was about to follow through and finish Sora off, but was struck in the chest by a black arrow and was frozen through completely by pitch black ice on impact, sending his body into shock on impact from within the Ice. Sora rolled onto one knee at the sight but recognised that it was all he could do not to let the residue of Leo's Ice magic freeze him through, so fighting back against this third party wasn't an option.
Sora was about to sigh in resignation before a very familiar silhouette landed beside him and rested its hand on Sora's shoulder, "You sure took your time didn't you... Captain", Sora managed to say before exhaustion washed over him and he fainted where he knelt, falling forward and being caught by the arrived Mu Lima. The now 2nd-ranked student in the academy smiled in relief, seeing that Sora was Alright, taking the initiative to refreeze the curse on Sora's leg and clear out the remnants of Leo's Ice magic with some ice magic of his own. "Looks like someone is trying to take advantage of today's Parent-Teacher conference to stir up some controversy within the academy... Though with the male dorms almost gone, I doubt Momonga will take this lying down... Well done, Sora, you can leave the rest to the adults now", Lima said with a kind smile, and he lifted Sora up and over his shoulder before flying off with Sora's unconscious body using his [Perfect] Telekinesis.

Sora's P.O.V
I twist and turn in a surprisingly soft bed as I feel messy, I am trying to sleep through the stuffy air and sweat constantly permeating off me, and don't me started on the ridiculous smell of me right now. Realising that I wouldn't be able to sleep like I forced myself to wake up, feeling a killer headache wash over me along with my exhaustion. I blink a few times so my eyes can get adjusted to the moderately bright lights of the hospital ward I am in.
I find my clothes haven't been touched yet and feel aches through my body from my overuse of Sage series magic while cursed. I am happy to find that the curse on my leg has been dispelled and my wounds have been healed, meaning my muscles and mana just needed to recover naturally. I look around for any tells on how long I had been asleep for, but I don't see anything particularly out of place, so I leave it alone.
I try to put some weight on my legs to see if I feel a sharp jolt run up my thigh through my calves as my muscles tense. I could practically hear them daring me to try walking and see what they would put me through. Not feeling like staying in the hospital longer than I have to, I comply and lie back down on the hospital bed dejectedly. I feel a chill run up my spine as the feeling of being observed washes over me, but I have nothing to back the thought up.

Narrator's P.O.V
Just outside the reinforced emergency ward is an observation room where one can see multiple screens showing the vital information of patients within it. In the Observation room for Sora's emergency ward were 5 individuals- Mu Lima, who found Sora; Principal Momonga, who runs Interstellar Academy; Yagi Takada, Sora's Squad leader and Home room Tutor; Sister Ruth, Sora's assigned carer until his full recovery, and finally a raven haired woman looking to be in her mid thirties wearing a Police Uniform, though one could note the resemblance she bore to Xiao Yaya.
"Now that the boy's condition seems to be stabilising and the involved students are apprehended, why don't we discuss your family's involvement in this incident, Officer Xiao?", Momonga started with a thin smile, his gaze never leaving the disoriented form of Sora within the emergency ward. "Do you mean to tell me you plan to fall out with the Xiao's over some random brat Momonga?", The 30-year-old woman retorted with an amused look on her face.
"You tell me, Miss Xiao, as a result of this incident that your family incited, one of the dorms has irreparable damage done to it, multiple of our brightest 1st and second years are in critical condition if not outright crippled, and one of my representative students for the divine tower trial have been heavily compromised... How does the Xiao family plan to restore my institution on this matter?" Momonga asked with a thin smile as his grip on his cane loosened ever so slightly.
"It is Matriarch Xiao to the Likes of you, Principal, and you should consider it your greatest fortune that the Xiao's don't get other families involved in this matter... Clean this matter up yourself and we will consider ourselves even, you for allowing harm to come to my girls, and us for indirectly causing harm to your institution", Officer Xiao responded with equal calm to the principal. "So to be Clear, Lady Xiao... You believe that the two seeds of your clan are more valuable than the reputation and dignity of the entire Interstellar academy", Momonga stated more than he asked. "And so??", Officer Xiao responded, just as sharply glaring Momonga in the eye.
"Why don't we find out then... 5 of the best the Xiao Clan has to offer below the age of 20, versus 5 of the best our Academy has to offer below the age of 20... Come tomorrow afternoon a competition will be held to determine the value of each side, with the winner dictating the terms of this matter's settlement. The losers may have no say in terms of negotiations", Momonga proposed as he turned his gaze back to the disoriented Sora within the emergency ward.
"No need for such a farce... Why trouble our people when we can settle this like leaders of old, 1 on 1 single combat... First strike wins, loser accepts the victor's conditions", Officer Xiao countered with poorly concealed conceit. "That would be unfair to you Lady Xiao... A meagre Grandmaster Mage like yourself respectfully stands no chance in open combat with a True Sage like myself", Momonga warned with a sigh as his gaze softened on Sora.
"You think too much of yourself, Momonga. A one-tracked Mage like yourself could never stand a chance against a 5-element Grandmaster like myself, while you cling to your ideals of single mastery, my 6th element will soon catch up to the rest, and I will ascend to a level below yourself... By your age, I would have long since surpassed you", Officer Xiao mocked with a flush of anticipation covering her face. " Very well... I accept... Though I believe the ground is much too fragile for a showcase on my level, we will begin at once, The winner will be the first to drag the other to the ground. The fight begins once we both reach an altitude of 10,000 feet", Momonga proposed as he placed his cane on a nearby table and gestured for Officer Xiao to follow him out.
"Good, let's make it official then... I, Xiao Reiwa, 105th Matriarch of the Xiao Dynasty, and Current Chief of the Phoenix City Imperial Staff, challenge you to a ring out duel where the previously agreed on conditions will apply", Officer Xiao challenged with a toothed grin. "I, Elijah Momonga, 10th Principal of the Interstellar Magic Institute, and 12th Honour Guard of Phoenix City, accept your challenge with the results being strictly determined by the earlier agreed upon conditions, I wish you good luck", Momonga responded as they both made their way out of the emergency wing of the School Medical Centre with the other 3 in tow.
