"Is there anything else, Grandpa?"
Dominic Vanderbilt squinted slightly, sizing up Juliana Vanderbilt for a few seconds, then said in a deep voice:
"I don't want any fuss over my birthday banquet."
"How can that be? Grandpa..."
"Enough, we're not having it this year! I don't have the energy to fuss over it anymore."
Dominic's attitude was very determined, not giving Juliana a chance to insist further, before he left with his walking stick.
Rosy Roberts did not spare Dominic a single glance from beginning to end, indifferent to his opinion.
"Grandma..." Juliana was somewhat anxious, turning to look at Rosy Roberts.
"If he says we're not having it, then we won't. It saves us some effort too."
