In another room of the same hotel, the Mysterious Man wearing a mask asked Akatenango.
As Akatenango was packing her suitcase, she scoffed disdainfully.
"You think I want to be here? It's only because the boss said there would be a doubles match at the end of the competition. We at JR's Laboratory train new recruits, and I'm just lending a hand."
"Condolences."
At this, Akatenango looked up, puzzled, at the Mysterious Man.
"Are you feeling sorry for my opponent? There's really no need, I'm only helping with one match. It's unlucky for these people to face me, but at least it's just one."
"I'm advising you to offer condolences."
Akatenango slammed her suitcase shut forcefully, "You, always deflating your own spirits while boosting others' courage?"
Could there really be a contestant better than her in this competition?
