Ethan Herd shook his head, "With departments like yours, you can just have the local government office cooperate directly. Who did this to you? And now you're being chased and hiding everywhere."
Gabriel Johnny's face revealed a faint smile, like a car light flashing by on a pitch-dark rainy night. He asked, "Are you sure you want to know?"
Ethan immediately replied, "Forget it, don't say it. We're not keen on knowing."
For Gabriel Johnny to be out here carrying out the mission himself, it must have involved the core of some secrets. Generally, those who knew these core secrets likely met bad ends, and Ethan's curiosity was not that strong.
Gabriel Johnny nodded, "Right, those who don't know are the ones who live longer."
Ethan had put in a lot of effort to bandage him up properly. "Alright, the bandaging is done. When are you leaving?"
Gabriel Johnny didn't speak and after a while said, "For now, I might not be able to leave."
Ethan was puzzled, "What do you mean?"
