The term 'Palace Master' referred to the Master of the Great Wilderness Dao Palace.
During the Taoist Immortal disturbance, Lian Tingxi and other members of Xuandan Sect, had followed Age Candle Heavenly Venerate to the Great Wilderness Dao Palace for refuge, so most cultivators of Xuandan Sect had long regarded Han Yi's position as the Master of Great Wilderness Dao Palace instead of the Supreme Elder of the Sect.
