For the snake, there didn't seem to be many troubles, as it was, strictly speaking, a snake belonging to the Rabbit God and so naturally wasn't targeted by the Rabbit God.
For these two humans, the adversaries of the Rabbit God...
Even better than for the Rabbit God, at least the Devouring Yu Liang Snake had never been so well-fed there.
With no life-or-death threat looming, the snake comfortably lay flat; wherever there was Yu Liang, that was home, and for a well-fed snake, anywhere could be home.
