In front of a 20mm artillery shell that flies 11 kilometers per second, even the thickest frontal armor of a Battleship or the armored command tower is like a single sheet of thin paper, and the defenseless civilian airships are even less than that. If nothing unexpected happens, this strike should penetrate straight through and explode after exiting the other side of the ship.

Steel Bee was well aware of this, so it deliberately flew to a high altitude, aligning with two of the four main engines arranged in a quadrilateral shape in a straight line, firing at an angled trajectory to destroy both main engines at once. The resulting secondary damage from the explosion would likely affect the operation of the remaining two engines. With some luck, a single attack could strip that ship of all its power.
