But, she didn't stop the action of getting dressed.
It wasn't until she got out of bed to put on her shoes that Becca Reyes suddenly realized something.
If she hadn't misunderstood, they probably wouldn't be waiting for Joshua Bailey's assembly whistle this morning.
Thinking carefully, considering their training volume, getting up at this time was already too late.
With so many instructors, it was impossible that they had all forgotten the time; the only possibility was that they simply weren't coming to blow the whistle.
They intended to catch them waking up late, and then be unable to complete the mission.

Having thought this through, Becca Reyes reluctantly finished putting on her shoes and reached up to knock on the bunk above her.
