Once home,
Ouyang rushed over quickly. Seeing Ye Ning like this, he looked puzzled. Mu Yeli didn't say anything, just let him give Ye Ning an injection. Unable to stand by and watch, He stepped out first.
After Ouyang finished giving the injection and left, he saw Mu Yeli standing by the window with his hands hanging down, looking out, with a worried look on his face. His expression deepened with concern, like dark heavy clouds, gathered between his brows.
"What happened?" He asked.
"It's nothing." Mu Yeli turned his head to respond.
Ouyang said, "Seeing you this way, it doesn't look like nothing. Don't tell me you're upset because of Ye Ning. I've given her an injection already, she'll be much better in a while. Aren't you going to check on her?"
"Seeing me would only upset her." Mu Yeli laughed, sorrow apparent in his eyes.
Ouyang quickly understood, "Oh... I see... What happened?"
Mu Yeli cast his gaze into the distance.
