"What are you doing? Why did you kick it?" Cheng Ziang frowned, glaring at the suddenly appearing Hun Jiansi, his voice full of complaint.
Hun Jiansi didn't like small animals, which Cheng Ziang could understand. But the fact that she went so far as to violently chase away even the dog in front of them made Cheng Ziang uncomfortable.
Cheng Ziang stood up again, preparing to scold her, but when he looked at Hun Jiansi, her eyes were wide open, her body trembling, cold sweat dripping down her forehead as she gasped for breath, as if she had seen something terrifying.
"Are you okay?" Cheng Ziang looked at her and cautiously asked.
His question snapped Hun Jiansi out of her shock. She immediately looked at him seriously and said, "Listen carefully: don't go near animals of unknown origin—not dogs, not even birds!"
"Why? Are they dangerous? Will they bite?" Cheng Ziang asked in confusion.
"They can kill you!" Hun Jiansi suddenly shouted in a frenzy, startling Cheng Ziang.
