Chapter 1633 - Chapter 33: Dark Altar

The heavy rain poured down, creating pools of water in the low-lying areas of the street. Many abandoned vehicles were submerged halfway, resembling bloated dead fish.

Amid the roaring engine, the war chariot, driven by Tang Zheng, pierced through the curtain of rain, leaving behind a surging wave.

As they neared the northern suburbs, the number of Qin Army soldiers rapidly increased, and their defenses became even tighter.

"We've been spotted," Fang Zhiwen shouted while pointing at the windshield, then let out a sudden laugh.

A squad of Qin soldiers was charging from the opposite side of the street. However, the torrential rain had risen to thigh height, significantly slowing their advance.

Some Terracotta Warriors drew their bows and aimed to attack from a distance. Yet, under the interference of the wind and rain, the arrows only flew five meters before plunging into the water. Other Qin soldiers threw spears, but they too were ineffective.
