In fact, this method can hardly be considered a shortcut. Although it sounds simple, in reality, it's utterly unachievable.
Even Pangu Great God, who was able to kill the three thousand Chaos Demigods, was not able to devour them.
However, it's not necessarily impossible. Pangu Great God indeed did not achieve it, but the Chaos World did. The origins of those three thousand Chaos Demigods were mostly devoured by the Chaos World.
This is also why the Chaos World possesses the potential to ascend to an eternal world. For, after devouring the origins of the three thousand Chaos Demigods, it has become complete, embracing a trace of the true essence of eternity.
