"BWAAAAH?? WH-WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!"
Isabelle screamed while staring wide eyed after the elf, who had disappeared like a gust of wind into the night with his unicorn.
She whipped around and looked to her husband, only to see his equally surprised and baffled face staring at the spot the elf and his unicorn had vanished.
"Uhh...umm..." He muttered unsurely, scratching his head as he did so. "Well. He certainly...beat a hasty retreat..."
She huffed and crossed her arms.
"He still didn't give me any answers...!"
Lyov gently pat her head. "It's alright, love. At least we saw Tasslik."
The reassurance sounded weak in her ears.
"Mm." She murmured distractedly. "It...would have been better...to know...what he wants...his reason for coming..."
He kissed her temple, and wrapped an arm around her.
"Come. Lets go back to your room. It's getting quite cold standing out here. And I think Snowball will be jealous if you spend much more time with another animal..."
