Her eyes wandered over to the play that had finished. The actors were milling around and taking bows for the audience members, and a few had started to disperse. The woman who played Kelsa, in particular, seemed to be getting the majority of the attention.
Which was fair. Isabelle would have said the play was all about her, and her performance was very well done.
The narrator also deserved a lot of credit, as he'd been the one who told most of the story. But that actress still deserved praise for her acting. She'd made her so invested, and she'd made the scene with Kelsa seeing Lief dead so painful, and...
